Err no. You only need to unlock all the hidden characters beside Seth Gouken and Gouki. Not beat the game with the unlockables. You then need to beat the game with a character you already beat it with to get gouki and do the perfect/ultra shit. Then, you can get Gouken. I’ve done it this way 3 times already.
its a theory but i think i’m wrong… Somethings up tho because i’m a lot better on the 360 with a TE stick than I am on the PC with a TE stick. Inputs seem off

i dont think so. It’s odd. I mean the game always has terrible input lag with 3 bars or less on 360 but… i’m playing all 5 bars green and am finding it hard to get moves in.

I’ve played the hell out of the 360 version and this feels different. Perhaps its because there are so many varied hardware configs out there and I run into a lot of people with lesser hardware?

I agree, i hooked up my Chultha stick to the PC and things seem much slower. But playing better with rose on PC. So dunno.

i hate not having a current gen system, but theres no way for me to justify buying one at this point considering they got like 2-3 years tops left on their lifespans
Hey thanks, this worked. I was getting choppy framerates on some of the stages (chinatown, stage with cars). Now with PhysX disabled the stages are silky smooth. I was thinking about upgrading my cpu and ram to see if that would help. You just saved me a couple hundred bucks!

I’ve been playing the offline mode for a while as I don’t have a legit key, I love the game but I have no desire for a laggy gaming experience…
Can someone who’s played the PC game online tell me if it’s worth buying or not? I’m living in Australia with a good connection and get pings of about 200-350 around US-Europe. And really good pings in Australia and Asia.
Played a bit of online tonight, it was good but it had it’s issues.
I had some lag in a few of my matches, but I’m assuming it’s me playing on wireless instead of wired.
I also noticed in some matches there was some frame dropping, considering I was staying at 60fps, I doubt that one was on me.
Overall though, I’d say online is really good though one you fix those issues, plus it’s easier to send messages on PC :wgrin:
There seems to be different opinions, but mine is super positive. Online is awesome, and almost every match is smooth and lag-free. I just played arcade through once with Ryu to unlock Sak, practiced a bit in training/challenge mode and since then it’s been online, online, online. Addictive.
If you get good ping to Japan/Korea there should be a few people to play, I’ve seen some around. They always have 1 connection to me though.

It’s definitely worth buying!
You won’t get any value out of the online matchmaking function (so no ranked or championship mode for you) since there’s no way to restrict it to just other Aussies and 99% of games it finds you will be 0 or 1 bar connections to people in the US or europe. These games are not worth playing. :sad:
Instead you can go to ozhadou.net and post your ID on their gamertag signup thread and add the guys there. Depending on where you live player matches with other aussies will be at least 3 bars (a bit laggy but playable) and should be 5 bars if you’re playing someone in the same city. :bgrin:

Unfortunately we only really get about 2 bars to Japan/Korea. Would be sweet if it was better…
