I navigate it just fine with a 360 controller and with a Madcatz SE stick.
Don’t play with vsync on, it causes input lag on many kinds of displays so try and see if you notice a difference between off and on before leaving it on.
Just google “vsync input lag” to see the many complaints people that play FPS games have with it causing input lag.
yo i played you a bunch of times tonight, some good matches even though ive never played this game before today lol
im a dhalsim - tag: Jailhouse Frog if you remember
The console versions and arcade would surely have default vsync wouldnt they otherwise you would be seeing tearing? Do the arcades use crt or lcd screens?
The home key doesn’t work on my HRAP3 either. I have to push the Home button on the keyboard. There doesn’t seem to be any way to configure it.
Really it was a lazy port. I had a friend come over and play - he couldn’t figure out how to continue in arcade mode until I told him “You press ESC to continue”.
ugh whats with everyone playing ranked matches.
I haven’t even checked Ranked on my PC yet heh.
Nevermind. Looks like save data and replays are defaulted to documents/capcom
What should they be playing?
Hehe played around 15-20 matches an hour a go… all i saw was
10 akumas
1 Sagat
2 Kens and 2 Ryu
2 Cammys
This is ofc G3 oh well hope its gonna be better later on
But its freakin awsome! haha i love it
i had some slowdowns also… a few times… but it acually lightend up only 1/20 matches was laggy all the time and 2/20 was laggy sometimes
All in all its still a fantastic game and i cant w8 to play more
Netcode is leaps and bounds above the PSN version, and was worth picking up just for that reason. Visiting my family this week and stuck playing on their ancient box (AMD X2 4600+ 3GB RAM 9600GT), and it’s a solid 60fps at 1440x900. Was a little worried about this framerate slowdown insanity, and if it happened more often, I could see it ruining the PC online experience. But it’s only come up in 1 or 2 matches out of the ~25 I’ve played so far.
Only drawback so far is the expected one: the competition in G3 is skill-degradingly bad. Looks like a lot of people who just picked up SF4 for the first time. But even that’s a good thing in the end.
I really doubt that it’s any different. There are probably just more players within a smaller area, so there’s more people with good connections to choose from.
is the release version using the xbox controler setup?
like press X to select an option in the menu and stuff like that?
Compared to the release of SF4 for console…a LOT more of the competition actually understands game mechanics than they did back then.
Ya it looks like it is. Using my USB chultha stick case, i had to rework the buttons to mimic the xbox buttons etc… Took some time for me since i never owned a xbox, so i just saw the button layout online for a TE stick and followed that set up.
erk oh well no big surprise there
Think ill go buy it during lunch … I invest way too much money in that damn game lol
LOL me too, bought a HRAP3 and a load of Sanwa buttons, and a FS3 and upgraded to a JLF and Sanwa… Plus the cost of the game on PS3 and PC, and it looks like this game has cost me a good $320 in total :looney:
I didn’t read the whole thread but if you have the retail version is it possible to install the game on more than one PC and still be able to play online?
Thx
yeah, but not at the same time…
soooo, anyone got their saved data corrupted all of a sudden after playing for a while?
