had to reset steam doh!
How do I access chat? Can’t seem to type into the Steam URL bar.
can i trust you on that!?
If you delete part of the game and tell steam to “verify local game content” it will re-download those parts in un-encrypted form and you can even launch the game by re-downloading the .exe (but it will die shortly after because all its data files are still encrypted).
I’m 90% certain re-loading the whole thing will work.
BTW… Please Add me on Steam. Username: DwindleFlip
I’m re-downloading it at 2.3 MB per sec. I’ve tried restarting steam but didn’t work for me. But, I should have it within 30 minutes so no biggie.
Though I’m kinda discontent with this whole shit since the whole reason I got it from steam was for the pre-load itself. But, that’s the way digital distribution can be sometimes, I’m used to this kinda shit so its not hitting me as hard as it is to other peeps.
Same steam problem here. Argh.
mine wouldnt launch either, it would just give me the product key and not do anything else. so ithought maybe restarting steam might do the trick. apparently it worked since my sf4 is decrypting now.
so just exit steam and restart it. worked for me
lmao they fixed the problem like 4 minutes ago, restart steam and it will start decrypting. Patience…
You just paste it into your browser.
I’m decrypting now. Here’s hoping.
That didn’t work but I was able to find the chat rooms in Steam.
DL is going to take 3+ hours with my connection.
Thanks, seems to be working properly now.
Hmmm, hopefully restarting Steam and decrypting is enough. Waiting to hear from people who did this…
*Edit: Nvm, already a confirmed case of it working?
yay, just got the game yesterday on pc. its awesome!
So… The game is booting, but I’m still having the same config errors that the benchmark had. It crashes if I try to change every graphic setting that matters. I’m going to have to manually edit the .ini file.
I have a lot of faith in you Capcom, but this is mad sloppy. I reported this as a bug two weeks ago. I’m not the only one.
It shouldn’t be surprising that the you’re having the same config errors that the benchmark had. That is a testament to how accurately the benchmark mirrors the performance of the actual game on your system.
What are your system specs?
Don’t worry I have the same problem. If I change the AA using the in game menu to anything less than what the highest setting is the game crashes. But its funny cause I can run it with max settings just fine.
:xeye:
The game crashed on me with 8x AA but it doesn’t Crash with 16xAA C, It’s pretty weird but i rlly don’t care.
