how does the championship mode works? It will randonly find a dozen of guys and locate then on brackets, and you start playing untill only one stands? I was thinking that if im right on my suposition, the mini tournament would become a lag contest. At least on ranked play you can to check the other guys latency b4 to start the match
Not really, essentially you will only fight someone who is at the same progress as you
Round 1: You fight someone else who is just starting
Round 2: You only fight someone else who has also won round 1
Round 3: You only fight someone else who has also won round 2
Round 4: You only fight someone else who has also won round 3
Round 5: You only fight someone else who has also won round 4
G1 only goes to Round 3 before resetting, G2 goes to Round 4, and G1 goes to Round 5.
If you lose in a round, you get reset to 1, and if you win a championship (all 3, 4, or 5 rounds) you get bumped back to round 1 as well. You earn more points the further along you progress.
Game is out…unfortunately nobody seems to be able to launch the game from steam?? anyone else have any different experiences with this?
Steam says “This game is currently unavailable, please try again at another time”
i can’t launch either. it opens up a CMD window then closes immediately.:xeye:

Still got a hour or less then a hour till it opens on steam. Least that what it says on the site for the pre order in green bar. Guess its a 1PM EST open time for it.
Edit: ahh seems as tho the bar is now gone.
YO what the crap, man i paid for this game off steam, DL it, its says its ready to launch, and when i finally launch it it got that CMD thing and disappears!!. man im pissed, i hope this wasnt a waste of 35 bucks. man they better fix this. i know im not the only one with this problem, i keep my computer in good shape!
anyone else buy it off impulse and get an email this morning with a serial number [Preorder]? i wasn’t able to preload the game with this key. just wanted to make sure it was a global issue and just my computer.

same thing. I couldnt launch it on steam. I decided to try and redownload it but now i see others on forums having this problem as well.
I dont expect the download to fix it
For those of you having trouble with steam, right click on the game and select “Delete local game content” and re-download. The pre-loader is busted. Not sure if the pre-load will be fixed by the time your download finishes but this method will work for sure.

Edit: Pre-load is decrypting properly now. Please ignore. Restart steam if it still doesn’t work.

Is this confirmed? Has anyone run it successfully off of Steam yet?
Was hoping to get it loaded as soon as I got home. My gf (who bought it for me for my bday) is even coming over just to see it. Now, I guess we’ll have to wait for it to dl again. Bah. Quite disappointing.
