Well, I tried. My offer still stands, and I’ll lurk a bit more in case people become interested. My little “project” was mainly for myself though, so I’m quite content with it (I also trimmed it down quite a bit).
As for doing QCF with the keyboard: Push down and hold it. Push forward and hold it, release down. BACON GOES HERE
Also, my 4850 works great with this game! I get a steady 60fps 99% of the time (loading movies is a special case, but that’s the nature of the beast). I’m running at 1680x1050 with all settings as high as they can go, AA and Anisotropic set to none. AA seems to cut a few frames during motion blur on some intros and ultras, and especially on the Pitch-Black Jungle stage. Since the resolution is so high, the jaggies are alot less noticeable so while I’d still prefer to use AA, I’ll live without it. I could probably turn the filtering back on though.
I turned off aa, and turned on V-synch and upped the texture detail to high. Just below 60fps throughout the 1st benchmark demo fight. Awesome. Maybe I’ll even use one of those ‘extra touches.’
So many stupid questions =/
No guys, you won’t Make it with an Integrated Graphic Card… we are on a HD ERA!!, this isn’t Starcraft, Worms Armaggedon or Warcraft 3 anymore… oviously the game is not going to run perfectly on your 2yrs old laptop…
And about the Keyboard issues, damn just get a pad >_<, they are like… $9.99…
People hope some magical answer can make them play this game perfectly. if Turning Framerate “Fixed”, AntiLiasing (AA) OFF, and Vsyinc OFF doesn’t work, don’t even bother.
lol dude, you’re doing a shoryu motion (obviously)
you MUST go back to neutral
so after pressing forward, take your fingers competely off, THEN do hadouken
this happens on joysticks as well…shouldn’t be a problem afterwards…
Wow, I’ve been messing about with the benchmark again and just noticed that the low quality character models rock! It’s reminiscent of Tatsunoko vs Capcom. I wish there was some equivalent middle ground for backgrounds between High and Low/Off. I can run the game at 1280x720 in 60+ FPS with high quality character models and backgrounds off, yet my machine barely manages 40 FPS with low quality character models and backgrounds on.
There has never been LAN support for any fighter in history. That’s akin to wondering why it doesn’t have extra characters. Much higher visual fidelity, including AA, isn’t enough for you at $40? The game being significantly different than the console versions would probably be a bad thing, actually.
