Get that crap they call “WinXP x64” off your HD and install either Vista x64 or Win7 x64.

Haven’t tried it but it looks like the trigger buttons won’t suck as much as the DS3 buttons.
get windows 7 32 bit or 64 bit, way better then xp-64 bit and vista combined.
im using windows xp 32 bit sp 3, an my frames are better than the benchmark.
everything runs fine, the only problem i got is that there are no changes to the pc version.

If I set the screen size to 600x480 (lol 1990), the game runs smoothly with backgrounds. Its not pretty, but its playable.
I’m using a stick (old PS2 Hori w/USB adapter), I haven’t tried it with keyboard. Keyboard…I can’t even imagine.
can anyone advice about the saving part, whether it is saved to the PC ? I cant seem to find the file after i saved locally.

does anyone know why the benchmark is completely inaccurate?
like i have settings that will give the benchmark like 20 fps during fights but give actual gameplay 60 fps mostly consistently

It does make sense. The benchmark renders every frame to accurately measure how fast it can render with the settings you’ve chosen.
In the real game you set it to fixed frame rate and it’ll render at 60fps no matter what, but it’s dropping frames to do it. If your settings gave you 40fps in the benchmark that means it’s dropping 20 frames each second - but 40fps will still look smooth.
You can test it if your computer isn’t too good - turn all the settings up to high, make it show the framerate and play. You’ll see that it says it’s running at 60fps, but it’ll be all choppy.

Yeah, going to Win7-RC1 did the trick. I probably should’ve reinstalled 32-bit XP and went 64-bit Vista/7.
Any solution yet on the character unlock issue? I’m -not- looking forward to 26 arcade clears just to have everyone. (Only Gen, Sakura and Rose opened so far)
people should stop whining about keyboard.
FADC into Ultra is incredibly easy on it (with Ryu is the most trivial thing ever, Abel is a tad harder).
also the charge characters have absolutely no limitation on keyboard, in fact they have a strong advantage over gamepads and their loose d-pads/analog sticks + only 4 buttons on the face of the controller…

can we still do karas in the pc version? i cant seem to pull it off with the keyboard 
also about ryu’s SRK, its Z +P in the manual and everywhere else
but on the keyboard, i go front and down front to do a hado, but i do a SRK.
so i cant really walk front and hado
i tried in triaining mode to go front down front and he did a SRK
meh. even if i dash(front front) then hado ,ryu will do a SRK

Had the game a day its great. Finding it hard though to all of the hard trials for Dan and Ken. If anyone else likes using Dan message me some we can practice. I really want to main Dan and unleash the power of Saikyu. :razzy:

i can do a hado , then shinku hado almost right after by randomly smashing the downrightpunch buttons on ryu but i cant seem to do it without mashing the buttons =/
also the same thing for throws, i’ve keep pressing the throw button + HK for ryu together and right after each other.i’ve gone to the extend of having my index fingers on the 2 buttons seperately to press them instanteously right after each other, but the stupid ryu always just does a roundhouse…
Does anybody experience just random slow downs? Like the game would just slow down for a short time. 3 seconds at the most then it’ll go back to normal speed.
