Y’know I have to say, I’m quite surprised at the online performance. I don’t know how it played on the consoles, but after declining matches against 1-bar opponents, I decided to play one and the performance is pretty good. I’ve versed a couple of 1-bar’ers and it seems pretty consistent. If only we could get proper latency measurements… blah.
can anyone help me?
when i try to play online in the game, i get this error
"online play via xbox live is not available with the current gamer profile"
i set up my GFW live account mainly when i bought GTA IV and later on Dawn of war 2.
on the boxset it says that online play is free, but if a GFW LIVE GOLD account is required, then i have to play 50 a month to play SFIV online??!!!??
or is there something wrong with my account. can someone tell me and/or help me out here please?
thanks.
Running on Aluminum iMac and breezed through Vipers, Ryu, and Sagat’s hard trials in like 20-30 mins.
My inputting is fine.
lol wow… as if dealing with crappy connections on a p2p system wasn’t bad enough. They really missed out on the advantages that the PC platform offers. Shame.
can you guys help me out?
you can experience input delay for a numerous amount of reasons on the PC.
try lowering settings, disabling v-sync, raising your desktop’s refresh rate if possible, overclocking your usb port (only do this if you know exactly how), ect ect.
could also be your monitor that’s lagging.
I haven’t played any Street Fighter since Alpha 3 but am considering buying this for PC. Problem is, I have no idea what controller/stick options are out there and can be bought in Europe. I don’t know any brand names, sites or prices. Can anyone suggest some popular/high quality options?
Which retailers are you guys finding the game at?
I too have suffered in more than half my games with people who have poor framerates
Back to the 360 version for me
AMD X3 720 (3core, 2,8ghz)
Corsair Dominator 2x2GB, DDR2-1066, 5-5-5-15
Asus Radeon 4870 DK
No overclocking on my PC.
AA 8x, Filtering 16x, 1280x1024 (basically everything on high settings).
Forced game to use 60hz refresh rate.
During play I get 59-60fps stable ALWAYS. Bechmark score was “A”.
The only problem is I don’t have a fight stick… yet.
how do you guys have the game with a valid key already…
It’s out in Europe, Australia and Japan already… or you can sometimes get a retailer to break street date if they don’t care about the product or work at 7-11
Got it from Game in Bristol, UK this morning.
Im using a X1900XT 256mb n i get a stable 60FPS on 1650x 1050. My cpu is ass lol (Sempron 2600+ lmao.)
So far its nice. the timing is easier to me.
Freaky avatar.
Play.com was sending out my copy on the 30th, but my card was declined. I changed to a different card but it’s already out of stock. Bummer…
i’m not liking the “deals” displayed on american digital retailers. after currency exchange the game is $29 USD in UK for a hard copy, while $36 USD for a digital copy. what is this bullshit?
That based on the 16.99 hard copy?
I’ve got a worse computer than some people here that I just tested the benchmark on and at not quite worst quality I had to turn Vsync on to prevent the game running at 256fps. The benchmark is accurate right? It’ll be that smooth in the real game?
No suggestions on PC compatible sticks for nubs then? Even just some names that I can google myself at this point would be good because I don’t know where to start research.
if you are playing with a stick you could maybe have my same problem
If i play with a keyboard its ok,60 fps etc…if i play with my madcatz SE(360 versione) my fps drops to 30…i realy dont know how to fix this…I have done anything except format c:
Yes it should run that smoothly. Here are a few sticks to name,
Hori EX2, Hori Real Arcade Pro 3, Madcatz Standard Edition Fight stick, Madcatz Tournament Edition Fight stick, Hori Fight Stick 3,
