so what Master System Sonic games are the best? My friend adores the MS version of Sonic 2 from his youth, I kinda like Sonic Chaos.
are the Tails games any good? I honestly never gave them a try.

Tails’ Adventure is an entertaining Metroid-ish game. But like all of the Master System and Game Gear Sonic games, the collision detection is really bad.

If I had to pick a favorite, it would probably be either Triple Trouble or Tails’ Adventure. The former simply because I liked Nack/Fang and would like to see him make a return appearance in the series, and the latter simply for being less glitchy than the others (though still glitchy). I honestly cannot wholeheartedly recommend any of them though.

I liked Sonic 2 MS/GG, but that’s blatant nostalgia and I know it.

I can’t really go back and play any of them but Sonic 1 for some reason. Even Sonic 1 MS/GG eventually turns me off. Do not know why.

yeah I just beat it today…god damn they made Super Sonic more broke than ever lmao. The game kept me interested and I thoroughly enjoyed it especially towards the end. Can’t wait for the sequal so Bioware can improve on the formula and what not. I don’t wanna talk about the ending exactly cause that might spoil it for people who haven’t finished the game yet themselves. Near the end though I was like…‘AGAIN KNUX!?..FUCKIN AGAIN!?..GOD DAMMIT KNUX!’, surprised they actually threw a curveball though.

Unleashed officially hit 2 million total sales.

Wii version alone approaches 1 million. I hope it gets there!

I know everyone’s tastes are different, and I can appreciate that…

But, still, I’m a little shocked that one wasn’t on more lists. That’s like THE classic, when I think of Sonic music…

that’s not bad…and I just looked at 2006’s numbers and as long as it’s beating that then that’s good…the game at least deserves better numbers than that piece of shit. Are you listening Sega? hmmm?!

In response to Star Light Zone…Juggalo has his list more centered around old school so it would have a greater chance of showing up in that list. Unfortunately for me, Starlight is memorable from Sonic 1 but it doesn’t make top 3 from that game (Marble, Spring Yard, Green Hill)…might be because the tracks before it were just as memorable and came before it…or maybe it’s because subconciously everytime I hear spring yard it reminds me of Bobby Brown’s ‘Every little step’?

this doesn’t exactly relate to sonic but there’s mention of his feelings towards the series…and a certain section I laughed at a bit.

1 being that he’s taking all the credit for the creation of the character it feels like which is not the case and 2 being the last sentence.

Naka has actually been like that for awhile with taking up all the credit for thinking up and developing the character…one of a few things that puts him pretty close to the douchebag line. I knew about him taking the credit before but I didn’t think he’d actually come out and say that in an interview flat out with a big name.

I had almost forgot that the official Sonic Unleashed soundtrack had got released. Only difference between this one and the gamerip is really a few cutscene tracks from what I read but I haven’t listened to it yet. I’d rather have the official one anyway so I’m gonna replace the one I have now with the official.

I’ll second the notion for Blaze to join the cast in the second one, easily my favorite character in the Sonic universe.

apparently they’re already starting writing stuff for the sequal…so it hasn’t been completely given the green light yet but I don’t have any doubts that they’ll probably do it.

FUUUUCK…Sega if you don’t fix that swordplay…>(. So far from what I’m getting from the article it’s about 7 material. Who at sega Ok’d the use of the secret rings camera with Unleashed gameplay!? Somebody needs to fuckin get stabbed RIGHT NOW.

on a slightly more positive note though…They pushed the date up on the game in our books from march 10 to march 3. After reading Matt’s hands-on I don’t know if that’s a good idea since they should have more time to fix stuff. Hopefully a they’ll have enough time to make the game better.
