Sonic Unleashed is the next Sonic game slanted for Next-Gen systems.

From the images,so far it might turn out better than that POS Sonic 07(I thought nothing could be worse than Shadow the Hedgehog,but that POS game…)

It looks like there will be no more sidekick characters in this game,and it looks faster,which is what this series desperately needs at this point.It’s a fucking simple formula.Keep retarded sidekick characters to a minimum(Sans Tails and Knuckles).Make the game about Speed,and doing fun shit.No retarded puzzles or exclusively action stages.

Also, looking at the link’s images it would appear that Robotnik finally had some shit ready to take out Super Sonic. Prep-time is your friend. :rofl:

Hopefully those images mean we’ll get access to Super Sonic power within the main part of the game, and not just at the ending sequence. As long as the camera isn’t too bad and the load times aren’t ridiculous like the previous game, this could be good. In the future, Unleashed was just ok…and I just farted.

You know…I actually did like those Big the Cat and Froggy fishing stages.Just because it was so far removed from doing normal side kick character stuff.

And yeah,it seems its hinted that he will be able to turn Super in game,which is a throwback.

It’s 3D, it probably won’t be very good. Unless they take the emphasis away from the actual action parts of the game, kinda like Mario 64 did in comparison to the 2D Marios, which were far more skill heavy to beat.

I actually haven’t played any of the Sonics after Sonic Adventure 1 & 2.

Did all of those suck? Sonic Heroes? One about some rings? And there’s this remake on the PS3 or something? Are any of them after Sonic Adventure worth playing?

Sonic Heroes = meh.

Sonic the Hedgehog (PS3/360) = SUCKED ASS.

Sonic and the Secret Rings = not bad, but could’ve been better.

Sonic Heroes: The only time you can see where you’re going is when you’re falling off the stage.

Shadow the Hedgehog: A bland, clunky game whose only redeeming feature is that it can be beaten in one sitting so the pain doesn’t last for that long

Sonic 360/PS3: Sonic Heroes only now you have to wait a half hour to fall off the screen.

I’ve been a Sonic fan, since the Genesis days. These days, I’m only a fan of the character, but the franchise has gone completely to shit! Thanks to Sega and their stupid-ass decisions, we get a bunch of thrown-together Sonic games, riddled with glitches, bad cameras, load times from hell, and crippled-ass gameplay! They even have the audible stench of the 4Kids Entertainment voices (I’m looking at YOU, Jason Griffith)!

You might say that I’m not-at-all excited about this new game, because I’m rather gun-shy after crap like Shadow (GCN/PS2/XBOX), Sonic Next-Gen (360/PS3), and Sonic Genesis (GBA). I’m not gonna get excited over anything, until I start hearing whether or not this game is better than that shitstain of a 15th anniversary rebirth for the next-gen world (my ass)!

Remember when everyone used to think that Sonic Heroes–a game that I liked very much–was the worst Sonic game ever? Yeah, now that game doesn’t seem so bad by comparison, does it?

EDIT I’m willing to bet Eggman probably isn’t gonna be the main villain in this game… AGAIN! :bluu:

I’ve been fooled by Sega and Sonic Team 8 times before on their 3D Sonic attempts. I shan’t be fooled a 9th time… and neither should any of you.

I have yet to really like a 3D Sonic game as much as I’ve loved his 2D games (Yes Sonic Rush and Sonic Rush Adventure were mad fun)…hopefully this turns out decent.
