he’s talking about in reference to the japanese trailers getting the actual crush 40 ‘Knight on the Wind’ song and the one they release over here in america is an orchestrated version of it.
If it’s one thing I wish they would completely revisit it’s what they did in terms of 3k’s soundtrack with each zone having a main theme but both acts having a derivation of the theme. Unleashed came really close to doing that between the day and night stages but not quite. They’ve been dabbling in trying to do that here and there in a few games…notably the rush series between Sonic and Blaze’s tracks for the stages in the first one and acts for Rush Adventure.
yyyyyup…well aware of it…that’s why I’m optimistic but i’m going to remain cautious about it until there’s more information on it. Unleashed wasn’t completely horrible but opinions are going to differ all over the place but it’s definitely obvious that they’ve been moving in the proper directions since Secret Rings. Eventually they’re going to get it right looking at the directions they’ve been going…I’m just in anticipation for when that game is.
Sonic X comic is eh IMO that’s about to change though since they’re basically turning the X comic into a whole seperate dimension entirely when it changes into Sonic Universe. The last issue of X had some events that brought both comics closer together and made them more parallel. I gotta go to the comic store and see of the latest issue came out along with Chun-Li legends.
So anyway we had already did some sort of tier list for the games…how about music? If you guys could pick 10 tracks from the series what would they be? I’m curious for what your answers are.
I dunno… It’s good to be optimistic, but my faith in the Sonic game series has been dead for a long, long time. To be honest, I want the series die, bring it to back behind the house and put it down like Old Yeller.
oh no doubt I don’t blame anyone who’s lost their faith…Sega’s fucked up a lot and it’s easy to tell that they’ve lost a lot of people who were fans of the series. Just read the comments on the videos for Black Knight and Unleashed. But if Sega did make a good game then they could easily rake in a lot of people back who strayed away from the games.
What can I say? I’m a big fan of the series without being a complete nutcase and blind to any wrong doings that it has.
If there is one nice thing that I can say, well two nice things that I can say, about Sonic Team and their Sonic games is that the graphics and art design are always great. I’ve never been disappointed by a level ever.

I freely admit that Shadow and 2006 are atrocious games. And that even though I really enjoy Adventure 1 & 2 and Heroes, they are seriously glitchy and I can see why others wouldn’t like them.

I downloaded the Sonic 3D Blast music from Shadow’s site a few weeks ago. Stuff is seriously dope. I wasn’t aware that the Saturn version’s music was different from the Genny version.
