they made their line in the sand regarding new sonic games and saying anything positive about it would tarnish their street cred.
a 3.5? is it really a 3.5 game? how many points were knocked off because of Chip?

To be honest, the night levels drag on a lot for the ps2 version, and that version isn’t that bad at all. It’s still a lot of fun. I heard that on the 360/ps3, the day and night levels are evenly distributed with way better designs. I read that gamespot review and they bashed the day levels as well. At least IGN acknowledged that the day levels are the best in the series when it comes to 3d. It makes me wonder what did Sega do to piss these guys off or maybe they just plain suck and kept dying countless times to the point that they bash the game for their own incompetence. I am still anticipating the ps3 version. Can’t wait to fire that up when it arrives.

And to make shit even worse they’re DEFINITELY on some bullshit cause they gave 2006 a 4.4. No ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME!? get that shit out of here. What I think is going on is that when sega asked them to review their game, they asked for a blow job and Sega was like ‘O.o?!’. So now they’re pouting and stuff in the corner. Seriously some of the hate on this game is really unwarranted and uncalled for. Look at the user score is so far off compared to theirs lol.

From everything said here and elsewhere, Sonic Unleashed is not a 3.5. A 5 at the worst from everything I’ve read. Unresponsive controls? Really? Only IGN brought that up and that review was equally bad.
Of course, I haven’t played it yet. Still hasn’t come in from Amazon. Even then, the Wii/PS2 versions are supposedly far inferior. Does that mean those versions are even less than a 3.5? Then it’ll be among the worst games ever!

That gamespot review was harsh as hell. 3.5 though? Thats the lowest rating they’ve ever given a sonic game.
Ok Warehog might have not been the best thing in the world, but I fail to see at how this is worse than Sonic '06. Gamespot editors must have second jobs as buttplugs seeing as their heads are always up their own asses.
I’m actually a bit surprised at the amount of people calling bullshit on the American IGN 360 review and the Gamespot review…especially from the people who’ve actually played more than 3/4’s of the game and know the horror that was 2006.

This one should have at least hit 7, but reviewers refused. I think they will neg any console Sonic now whether it is actually good or not.
PS3 version will be released today. Can’t wait to play this one.

I’ve only played the PS2 version, so who knows…maybe the Xbox version is magically WORSE than the PS2 version, which already deserves an 8 or higher in my view.
But, I’m calling BS.
That and the IGN US review is complete bullshit. I’ve been playing the 360 version and have already beat the Wii version and this game is easily an 8.5. I don’t know what game they were playing because I certainly encountered nothing of what those reviews mentioned. And whats with them saying that the music is simply, “passable”. Thats a load of bullshit right there.
