Sonic 2 is the best Sonic game ever.
I know, I love that game so damn much.
No it is Sonic 2 by a landslide it isnt even close. Sonic, Sonic 3, Sonic Rush and Sonic and Knuckles are all good but nowhere near the level of Sonic 2.
I donāt think it even matters. Iām not gonna say which is better than the other because theyāre both just that good.

Eh, all the main Genesis games are pretty consistent. They all have great music and level design. 1 was a fresh idea for its time, 2 was extremely polished, 3K (along with Sonic CD) used everything from Sonic 2ās cutting room floor and created an epic (but slightly bloated) end-all-be-all of Sonic games. You seriously canāt go wrong with either 1, 2, CD, or 3K.
But Sonic 3&K had better level design/art direction, bosses, length, special stages, music, final boss, Knuckles selectableā¦so how was it better?

I miss the classic sonic look, the adventure style was fresh the first time around but now its starting to bug me. YOU HEAR ME SEGA!? Robotnik looks like ass now!
did anyone notice that sonic seems to look different in unleashed? his limbs looks a little shorter and it reminded me of the classic look.
