Has anyone played Sonic Riders Zero Gravity yet? I’m stuck on unlocking SCR-HD as playable. I have all the other characters, all the boards, and Super Sonic. But I go to Free Race over and over and over like it says to on unlockable lists and the mother fucker still won’t show up. Is there something I am missing? Is it glitched and impossible to get him? What’s the deal?
unfortunately no i haven’t played zero gravity…that game in the beginning looked like it may have been better than the original…then everyone was shitting on it so I was like…: /. The first one is…aight…but I decided not to get the second one unless it was really good…so far I’ve heard it was kinda slow…something I’m definitely not into as a sonic game.
I like it okay. Some things are implemented better than in the first, but some new features are a little lacking. And they still kept the stupid starting gate design. All around, if you liked the first you would prolly like this one too. Story is still inane though.
But seriously, can anyone help me with unlocking SCR-HD please? Surely somebody else here has played it.
Anyone here played Sonic CD for the PC, the JP ver. to be exact? Sure wish someone could help me get it >o>
BTW about Sonic 3; in the stage where you fight Knuckles as a boss, there is a painting in the background that, while at first looks like the Doomsday battle, could it by any chance also be a reference to Chaos in SA 1?
I have the PC version of Sonic CD. Personally, the music isn’t any better.
You mean Sonic and Knuckles. You don’t ever fight Knuckles in 3. Even when you think you are about to fight him in 3, he only falls over because of the Death Egg launching. And it’s the Doomsday battle. Chaos and Sonic Adventure in general probably weren’t even on the minds of Sonic Team employees then. I mean think about it. The next Sonic game was 3D Blast and Xtreme never came to be. And those are far from what we got with Adventure. Plus I don’t think that there are any connections between the Genesis Era and the Adventure Era anyway outside of characters. Hell, that’s just some wishful thinking sir. Disturbingly wishful.

it didnt suck…it’s just that the Saturn one was sooooo good that this one is shadowed.
The new one introduced mad new shit, the only failure imo was that they made Nights speak. But I was sooo pleased they kept alot of the original music in, that warmed my heart.
The on going bad reviews of the game are there because sega’s been lazily slapping shit together lately…(not even gonna jump into how pissed I was at 2006…) I’m a sonic fan but I ain’t blind. They give the games good reviews if they deserve it…

Was the second favorite character of the series. He was originally only a one shot character just for Sonic Adventure 2, but he quickly became popular, and Sega ofcourse noticed his popularity and ran with it…off a cliff.
People were starting to get sick of Shadow’s shit with his constant emo/wangst scenes and dialogues, the fact that they were focusing more on Shadow than Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles combined [the original Sonic trinity], and the spinoff game they gave Shadow in their attempt to make the series darker and edgier. It only got worse once they introduced Silver [yet another character who anyone could have created while making fan art for the game], and afterwards, it’s gotten to the point where alot of the fanbase wants nothing to do with Shadow anymore. He’s basically the Wesley Crusher for the Sonic games.
Nevertheless, I must say this game has me rather intrigued, especially since they have gone out with the buggy 3D Camera angles that have plagued 3D Sonic games in the past, and gone more with the traditional 2D side camera view like the oldschool games.
Whoa NiGHTS talks in the new one? That’s kinda… yeah… bad.
And yeah, Sonic’s 3D games have been getting mostly bad reviews because they generally kinda deserve them. Everyone one of the 3D games has been a mix of good points and bad points, so as a Sonic fan I and I’m sure others can look past the bad points because the good points are still good, but that doesn’t actually make it a good game.
I still like Shadow, but they need to drop the guns and vehicles ASAP.
And I hate the holy hell out of Silver. The giant chicken waddle on his forehead is goddamn retarded looking, and he has the most whiny annoying voice ever.
I liked to believe shadow died at the end of SA2, it makes the recent games less painful
Actually as far I know…Shadow is STILL Second…that’s one of the reason’s he’s at least an assist trophy in smash bros. brawl. I still don’t know how the idea of giving shadow a fucking gun got past the round table meeting at all. It should have went like this…

I’m one of those sonic fans that actually likes shadow…but hated some of the stuff they did to him but I disagree on the fact that some people think he’s been emo for at least 85% of his game time. I cut him some slack since they shot maria in front of his face and that was the last image he saw before they sent him to earth…and they also killed his creator. Not to mention the fact that while most supposed emo people will whine, moan and bitch about the situation they’re in, Shadow actually attempted to go out and do something about it…like destroy earth. =D

“The Air” music from Sonic Adventure actually came from Sonic 3D Blast. I was like WTF. Ofcourse I was one of many who didnt play that game.
