yea thats basically it but you have to be quick. once the SRK hits, you "hit mk+hk then quickly tap ff. the second you hit mk+mp you being to tap ff, almost as if youre doing mk+mp+f then f. there is no real holding of any buttons since you have to do it so fast that you’ld hold it for less than a second.
That got me thinking, can you buffer a FA Dash Cancel? As in if you do MP+MK, F, F during a hitstun will the FA be cancelled into dash as soon as it comes out?
yes you can buffer the dash after the hitstun and thats what youll find yourself doing all the time.
since this a ryu post. ryu can SA, dash, level 2 SA, dash then attack with pretty much anything (normal attack/special move/ super, ultra will not connect because its too slow). if you decide to do a SRK after the second level 2 SA dash, you can dash cancel the SRK into a ex SRK or EX hurricane kick, ultra probably works too but i didnt try.
^^ if you do a level 1 SA after the 1st SA stun, you’ll only allowed to attack with a EX move or super after the dash. also to get the juggle effect from the second level 1 SA you must wait a second after you hit the op with the first stun SA. if you do the level 1 too soon, the op will recover after the the level 1 hits.
if you end a combo with a hurricane kick, you can connect a EX SRK, or super before the OP lands. ex SRK should be used in the corner.

so someone jumped on your ryu with iron feet and traded with your dp? no problem, just do the ultra once you recover, he’ll be landing on 8 fireballs. im thinking about trying an EX fireball before they land. update on that soon…

God, I think I blew through $20 just to get this to work but I finally got it down, now to incorporate it in my comp game. Thanks
tried some new crap today. with SA, you can actually press F+MK+MP then F once again to do the SA dash or dash cancel, should be easier for some people that way.
ryu can juggle with an ex fireball after a traded dp, and it doesnt have to be an anti air DP. you just need enough recovery to get out the ex fireball before the op lands and yes two hit from the fireball.
in the corner he can air hurricane kick to ex fireball.
if you end a combo in the corner with ex fireball, you can also add a ex hurricane kick if youre quick enough.
if you end a combo in the corner with a ex hurricane kick and the op gets set spinning in the air, you can do an ultra and it will connect but only if the op gets sent spinning in the corner.
a lot of these are just eye candy stuff i figured out playing the SA happy computer and you can get yourself killed trying to pull them off. some longer ryu combos arent worth wasting the ex bar unless you’re all about style and looking pretty.

ok earlier on in the game i noticed something fishy about ryu’s standing close MP, both ryu and the op are stunned whenever its connects or is blocked and ryu doesnt follow up with a special move/super. i decided to mess with it and SA…well it turns out that ryu can do something that is absolutely rare to this game…SA dash cancel a normal to another normal. thats right, C+lp, standing MP, SADC, c+lp or another standing MP into whatever tickles your fancy. havent tried with full bar yet, maybe he can dash cancel the second standing MP also for even more eye candy.
let me know if there are any other normal attacks in the game that can SADC into another normal, god damn ryu
with full super bar, you can try this out. jumping heavy attack, c+mk, fireball, SADC, standing MK(or another normal), SRK, SADC ultra.
in the corner try this one out, currently my favorite. if you catch someone with a SA stun in the corner(not that hard and can always be done when someone is dizzy)…after the SA, dash FF, F+HP, C+LP, C+hp, EX hurricane kick, EX fireball, EX hirricane kick. after the second ex hurricane kick, you get sent flying in the air sometimes so maybe another bar would = another ex fireball but i havent tried it. an ultra might also work after the second hurricane kick but i havent tried yet…confirmation coming soon.
ryu can also hit you with two EX fireballs depending on how high in air your op is when he gets hit by the first EX fireball but only one fireball will hit from the second ex fireball
once again everything mentioned here works and is not something i dreamed up

any SRK will work but once you use ryu a few times youll understand why you’ll more than likely always do it from HP SRK. as for timing, you have to do it immediately after you do the SRK but try to relax or youll end up doing SA with no dash, dash BB, EX SRK and other random crap.
So it’s like following up SAII in 3S - wait for a split second, then dash (dash cancel in this case) and throw it out, right?

just a quick question, does Ryu retain full Fierce SRK damage on FA cancel?
there is no waiting in SRK SADC, the second you do a meaty SRK, you hit MP+MK ,FF or MK+mp+F then F again. the only time youll wait is after the dash before you do the ultra or ex fireball. there’s a big hit window for the ultra when your op is on his way down from the SRK as long as you dont do the ultra tooo early.
SRK damage depends on the way the SRK hits, nothing to do with the SADC but damage will be reduced for the ultra after the SADC and it wouldnt be fair if it didnt.
