I’m going to the very last game of the 2009-2010 NHL regular season tonight, Edmonton at Anaheim. “Last” definitely seems fitting. Ducks have just been playing their youngsters since they got eliminated, but hopefully they’ll let the major veterans play tonight. I’d like to see Niedermayer, Selanne, and Koivu one last time before they retire and the Ducks start having REAL problems instead of just this motivational nonsense. Sixth best record in the 2nd half of the season and didn’t make the playoffs. That’s not a talent problem, its a motivation problem.

- flames not in the playoffs
- crazy goal scoring race
- ridiculous game to determine a final playoff spot in the east
- leafs with no picks and still hating on edmonton at every turn, making themselves look stupid
