Two starting goalies out for the season as well as Jeff Carter out for quite awhile, and they’re barely holding onto one of the last playoff spots in the east. They really needed to do something at the trade deadline, but chose to do nothing instead.
I should also mention that the joke NBC video brought up what I felt…Calgary Flames are essentially the leafs from the start of the year.
So last night the Hurricanes are down by 3 with 3 minutes left to play, and they pull their goalie.
Result: They commit a penalty forcing them to put the goalie back in only to give up a PP goal anyway.
That pretty much defines this team’s season.
