Funny how all the teams expected to win lost. I would have lost a lot of money if I where a betting man. I already knew that Philly vs NJ was going to be brutal though. Lets not follow suit with this silliness for todays games…
I picked the Avalanche to beat the Sharks and I could totally see the Coyotes beating the Wings and the Flyers beating the Devils, so I’m not surprised at all.
Seriously, until the Sharks do well in the playoffs, I’m just gonna keep picking against them. Last year they ran into an 8th seed Anaheim team that may have been one of the best 8th seeds of all times (lost in 7 games to eventual champion Detroit, and the 7th game was tied until 4 min left in regulation), but it doesn’t even really seem to matter who they play against. The Avs haven’t played well in months, but they’re fully capable of beating the Sharks.
