I should get into this too, I’d go straight for a at most 15 character game and focus on it being balanced.
Hi everyone I just downloaded Mugen and was wondering. I have the DOA4 arcade stick which plugs into my computer and I got the drivers from mircosoft to use it on the computer. Well Mugen can understand the button presses but it will not take input from the stick at all. Anyone know if I can fix this?

I am into edited work myself, though I have 2 wips underway. Perfect or close to perfect conversions are cool, but If I want the original version of something. Ill just play the real game.

The stages are older works but just to show the things I am capable of and also currently working on.

The link above states the basic uses of mugen, what tools you will need to get started, and random tricks myself or my staff might come up with, and a basic character creation guide walkthrough where I tried my best to make it as simple as possible to understand. Note that the docs folder in your mugen directory has the same material I am explaining in the guides but use both to get a good understanding.

You should be able to, you will probably have to mess around with it a bit plus check the mugen FAQs. You may not need to use the drivers at all.
Something similar was discussed in this thread. The analog stick on the regular xbox360 controller works, but the D-pad didn’t. The person was able to fix this and posted this:

You said that you already got the drivers from microsoft, and I don’t know how exactly Ki Shima managed to get the d-pad to work. Just try to configure the d-pad commands into the analog’s using the thing aquired from microsoft’s site.
Hehe I think I got like 200 something characters mostly perfect or near perfect conversions from mostly every 2D fighting game. SF3, CvS2,Guilty, Marvel, Breakers, WH, NGBC, Darkstalkers, Jojo etc. I’m trying to make a Capcom Fighting Jam type winmugen. Characters, like Marvel, Darkstalkers, GG, Jojo receive greater damage while dealing less just like in CFJ’s DS characters. That’s why I’m searching for perfect conversions. Shit like my friend parrying my Iceman icebeam with 3S Dudley and punish is fun! :looney:
Anyone know where I can get a Superman sprite for Mugen. I found this pic of Superman in it.
I have superman and wonder woman, ill put them up later if someone else doesnt.

Also. . I believe Kula has some of the best custom edits I’ve seen in Mugen. Isabeau, Kei and Hiel are amazing.

-She’s this gipsy that fights with this levitating demon blade. The blade makes swipes and shit when she moves her arms. The blade also tranforms into various types of blades, almost like A.B.A.'s giant key. She doesnt actually have punches and kicks, but rather blade movevents with the motions of her hands(like Donovan from Darkstalkers) She has gorgeous animations.

So far she seems to be quite beasty, but not god-tier. I love her anti air, the shit seems almost unpunishable. The blade starts to spin in front of her as she makes an upward dashing arc. So it almost seems as if she has invincible frames as the blade is rotating when she jumps up into the screen
Also . .she has this teleportation type thing. . I dont know how to describe it but the ai fuckin ABUSED that shit. It’s like Rock Howards dash … only she can do a fake out with it. . . .as in she dissapears as if she’s going to appear on the other side of the opponents but then reappears on the same side. She also can do this from a fake-out super art cancel. And she can to it forwards and backwards.

She is from this game called Asura Blade which is pretty fun! Other characters from that game on mugen that I know of are Yashaoh, Alice, and Lightning
