yeah tom hanks is one fucked up character, if you combo your opponent with posters of his best films something happens (something unimportantor i would of remembered)

Speaking of fucked up characters, when did these wave of “Evil” characters come about approximately? By “Evil”, I pretty much every edited character with an “Evil” or “Shin” title, along with some people like “Evil Kula” a.k.a. Isabeau (the broken bitch).
I’m sure Shade could tell me…if he were here with the information that he said he would post on Thursday; otherwise, it looks like DJ-Van’s the only “expert” on MUGEN here. (At least Shade changed that hideous avatar.)
XD I have Omega Tom Hanks. He can’t be hit by anything, and his movie title attacks are 100-300 hit combos. And then every once in a while, a dog floats out of the top of the screen and explodes.

I LOVE Evil Kula. . I just hate how she has Ravenous help her from off screen.
Maybe someone should make an “Heavenly Kula” or some shit that uses wild wind and water attacks. Regular Kula is too boring.
I just want the entire SNK cast to say I got them, when in actuality I only use characters from Rage, power instinct, MotW and the capcom remade SNK sprites. And Vanessa. lol
No specific date- though Evil characters started popping up in 2003-2004. Youd have Evil Ken which was the first Id say by Reu- then a lot of people jumped on the bandwagon. I dont really have a problem with Evil/Orochi/Shin/Dark/ Tan charaters :P. I have a section for them in my SP called mugen where I keep all my characters original to mugen. But yeah there are quite a few Evil/Dark shotokan characters from SF that have been made for mugen. This is probably because its much easier than editing all the sprites- to just edit a few like the stance and change the palette.
Recently though, people have stopped doing the Evil characters thing- I think the last evil character to be released was Dark Karin. This is probably because of the new editing software that people have- so youll find a lot of original characters now, rather than palette swapped ones. Again- I dont have a problem with the palette swapped ones- a lot of them are pretty good- like Dark Chun Li by Eli, Mystik Blaze’s Evil Ryu, or Reus characters, or Evil Dan

Hey DJ Van, Im really enjoying the EVE screen pack (way better than my old one) but how do I set it to a standard character select screen with slots rather than the catergories?
I just found a shitload of awesome looking characters. . namely a CapCom edited into the mutant Pyro, Carnage and a bunch of other nice shit. I’ll test them and then see if they are worthy of sharing.
Also . .I saw an edit of Psyloke called “Gracy” that looked SICK AS HELLL. She has silver hair, a red eye-mask, and this skimpy black/ silver thong armor type thing.
Anybody have her?

What I am MOST escited about is this character called “SOUL GEN” which looks like an INSANE beefed up version SFA2 Gen. I’m almost certian I’m going to fall in love with this guy.
I was wondering the same thing for a while. But just yesterday I found out that the character selection with 804 slots is in a folder in your data folder called “EVEvolve”, and if you replace the Select and System def files in that folder with the ones in your main data folder, you should be able to use that character select screen.

I have a “Gouken” (the original Shotokan master) character that just destroys everything.
I put him against both evil ken and evil ryu and he took em both out…He looks to be a Gouki edit and is pretty nice all around–except that there are a few sound bugs on some of his moves.
I’m interested to know what kind of character this “F1” is, however…
