The Official Mass Effect 3 Thread: True Ending only 1600 MS Points

Asari Adept is awesome on higher difficulties because of Stasis, but I don’t know about the Human Adepts. Human Adept is all about Singularity + Warp for Biotic Explosions, that’s not effective against armor/shield/barrier.

This is the class I’m trying to figure out. Tech Armor is nothing like in ME2, and it adds to power cooldowns when active.

Right now I’m working on a Turian Sent (got overload instead of throw). I plan on maxing Tech Armor with dmg reduction + melee boost, max Overload and max the other passive skills picking the bonuses for melee and weapon dmg. If the enemies are far, I pick them with the sniper rifle (only weapon I use with the Sent, I find it rarely runs out of ammo in one round). If the enemies are close, melee. Mid range, I just use overload to get some time.

The odd thing for me, is that I’m trying to figure out how a Krogan Sentinel would work.

That being said, Engineer is surprisingly fun to use and I love just pelting a few Submachine gun rounds into guys then Incinerating them. Hell, I had a game with 4 Engineers once, and we just all sent our Combat Drones at the Atlas when it showed up and had like 30 seconds of free shots on its back.

Doesn’t what you do in the multiplayer demo carry over to the full release?

Apparently not, actually.

No none of it carries over. I have a Level 19 Eng and I actually run it with a Pistol and a Shotgun. It is really effective if you are decent with a pistol.

Good to know vanguard is nice and cheap! I’m itching to get the game, I had my Xbox stolen last year too, I recently replayed me2 a bunch of times to get my renegade shep save file in place, sold my tv because of input lag and am off to buy a new one tomorrow
M not long to go now, I hope the geth shotty is broken still!

The Mullah haven’t seen you in forever! what’s up?

Seeing everyone argue abotu which class is best it seems like ME3 classes are all surprisingly balanced. On pc my tag is ZOOLANDERBEAST.

I enjoyed playing Adapter in Mass Effect 2.
I was told they were the worse class, but it was fun.

Bioware said adept in 1 and 2 are the weakest to start with but end up as the best if you stick with them, from the demo it looks like they nerfed singularity really good.

Vanguard was the worst class in ME2, it was basically playing on Hard if you started out on normal.

Vanguard was easy as hell on normal because everything had no defenses so anything you did had knockdown. It’s when it got to Insanity that things got hard because you couldn’t floor everyone easily. But it pretty much was the fastest class to kill things offensively since if you headshot with claymore + reload trick, you can even kill geth primes easily, since charge on shielded enemies still give you a stagger instead of a knockdown. Honestly if you had Kasumi, it was easy mode with Vanguard on Insanity. The flash grenade overheated the enemies weapon so you can kill a whole room in two seconds without retaliation. Kasumi made Harbinger her bitch, since he couldn’t even throw out anything at all. Adept was harder to play because only singularity had a slow when defenses were up.

My brother was running an awesome build for salarian infiltrator. Max the proximity mine and go straight for damage. Then get tactical cloak, get the recharge and the power use in cloak levels. Before you use a mine always use a cloak, this way it uses the cooldown of the cloak instead of the 7 seconds cooldown of the mine. Then equip only a good pistol. Now enjoy killing shit in 1-2 bombs where you get one every 2.5 seconds. He went through Silver and carried a team this way.

been opening crates in the store (both kinds) and haven’t gotten a turian or krogan yet!

all that did was max out my color options for a human vanguard

should i stick with veteran crates or go more for recruit crates?

oh well, i figure in the full game some of this stuff can be unlocked in the single player too.

I picked a Krogan Soldier on a Veteran pack. It had a golden border, so I assume it’s a rare resource, and I don’t think those can be found on recruit packs. My Turian Sent came from a recruit pack. Had a silver border, so it’s an uncommon. Would be nice to hear what other players found and the rarity of the other classes.

I’d say pick 2 recruits for every veteran. If you’re not getting good items on recruits, at least you’re stocking on those medigels and cobra missiles.

I seriously haven’t unlocked any characters except for human whatever (which is already unlocked?) when I bought four 5k crates. All my character unlocks have been from the 20k crates.

Played a bunch of MP yesterday. If anyone here['s tag is xhollywoodx or something close to it, good to play with you. Vanguard is too fun.

Probably won’t play much more’ since there’s only two maps, and they play exactly the same. I hope they have Co-op missions in the full game, and not just challenge maps.

The only notable things I’ve gotten from the packs are the Tempest SMG, Scimitar Shotty, and Asari Adept, so…yeah.

pretty stoked for this game

Yeah, fully leveled up charge was pretty good as long as you didn’t use it carelessly and had use it to warp to nearby cover, you kill whoever is near you hide, repeat. Vanguard was just hard to use effectively not an under powered class in ME2 like everyone says.

Thanks for the bud tip I’ll try that sounds nasty.

Hey man, yes I haven’t been in gd for a long time, just living life, trying to leave my mark on the world! Looking forward to getting in on some me3 games with you all

i wouldn’t waste time with recruit packs; just go for the veteran packs
