Like I said… I’m grasping at straws… I am experiencing the stages of mourning… Mine were just out of order. I started in the anger phase, then the depression phase, I’m now in the denial phase soon to be merged with the bargaining phase… we’ll see if I ever get to acceptance.
What did DA1 do?
Has anyone found it weird that Forbes is actually doing videogame journalism on ME3 fiasco and actually doing a better job than places that should? They even called out one guy for not checking his sources. There’s even more stuff than I posted and they are just pumping more articles out. I never knew they even covered videogames.

Forbes is an incredibly good business magazine. Forbes has actually been on the front line of reporting on the business of video games for quite some time (not always perfectly, but at least objectively). Forbes is the magazine that is in the hands of CEOs of people like EA, Activision, etc., talking about the business ramifications of their decisions, discussing sales forecasts and metrics. The fact that Forbes has hit them so hard on this tells me they see the serious possibility for substantive business damage to EA either now or in the future over this fiasco. I guarantee you Mr. John Riccitello has read every article on Forbes so far.
Just a reminder for you guys to keep in mind the game hasn’t been out for even a month yet. Keep using spoiler tags for awhile if your talking about anything past the 5 hour mark of gameplay.
We should start promoting more serious game journalism in general. I fucks with my man Ben Kuchera over at the PA Report (Penny Arcade). He used to work at Ars Technica, killing it on the reviews, previews, and just out right great articles. Problem with internet game journalism in general is that it’s just blogging. Blogging doesn’t have the same impact or standards that a thoroughly investigated news article does.
With the way that everyone is talking about ME3 it’s killing my mood to even want to play multliplayer. I’m kinda like “MEH” to the whole thing and that’s sad.
Two days ago I went to the Forbes website and checked that second link. I was surprised when I noticed that two of the five most popular news on that website were ME3 stuff, 30k+ views each.
I’m sure IGN and other game news websites are also capitalizing views on the whole controversy, they just decided to pick the other part.
I have this gme and have been thinking about swapping it due to peoples claims about the ending, but if it’s a case of it going over all of your heads then im most definitely gonna stick to it so I can finish it then haunt you guys
oh dear, iv just read a bit of that forbes articule up until the video. already considering the beginning of this game with its weirdness that semi put me to sleep, its obviously true. they already said they’re making a mass effect 4 early last year up until me5.

yeah bro that would have been bad. Outside of the very end this game is pretty tight. Only things that it lacks are the variety in missions that ME2 had and showed us it could have thanks to it’s DLC. That’s about my only problems with it.
Definitely keep it. I didn’t beat the game yet nor have I actually looked at the ending yet but the game is very fun and worth it to play through. The combat is more refined and seeing the plotlines of characters like Mordin and Legion wrap up really are good. The multiplayer is also pretty fun to run through and you might find yourself putting quite some time in it.

With the fleet coming and the fights on the ground did a wonderful job with the atmosphere of how hopeless the situation was and how everyone was ready to give up their lives to at least try and protect their loved ones. Chose the destroy ending and seeing Joker struggle that hard to make it was awesome

during the last mission from the starting cutsence from the dumb ass ending i really felt like it was the end of everything and that this was hopeless. but i was moved cause EVERYONE was ready to die during the last bits. the last conversations you have with everyone i really felt like i was never gonna see them again and this was it. it was brilliant wirting…till the last ending. >__>

[details=Spoiler] which brings me to my next question. the reapers reasoning for killing everything. their reason for fighting was because they believed that organics and synthetics can’t co exist. synthetics have always wage war with organics. they know our flaws and we built them for prefection. we’re flawed and they’re prefect. they can live forever, we die. therefore, its the reapers duty to bring order into this…by killing all organics (or harvest as they put it)
i still don’t get the reasoning…it just dosent make any sense. organics and synthetics can co-exist. Shepard has proven that. quarians and geth have made peace. i have a fully aware AI on board that can understand the concepts of love. i know out of 50,000 years and shepard being the only anomaly that can bring peace don’t mean that it will always be this way. however it has proven that it can happen and we can co exist if we follow shepards route. we need to not try to control the synthetics as our slaves or enemies but treat them as we would any organic. as individuals. also, even if we destroy all organics, there is still US. as i said before we are flawed. whos to say their won’t be a krogan rebellion or a genophage created for humans? or whos to say that some unknown race will bring in new chaos worse then synthetics? its just don’t make sense to blame this all on synthetics when we are the flawed ones. least wit synthetics they understand logic…we are made of illogical fallacies
thats what get me bout the endings. if i kill myself and make organics and synthetics live who to say “it wont happen again” if i destroy synthetics including the reapers, “the its only us to blame for chaos” i combine our DNA “we can still kill each other” there is never any peace. only war. no matter what the reapers say they couldn’t see that there actions we only adding more to the chaos the preventing it. the more they “harvest” us, the more we fought back leading to the creation of things like the crucible. YOU CAN’T PREVENT CHAOS IT WILL ONLY CONTINUE…CHAOS IS APART OF LIFE…PREVENTING CHAOS PREVENTS LIFE ITSELF.

Banshees are/have got a buff as well. Not sure if the patch has happened yet but they are getting more Barrier and more Armor.
We take them down efficiently but they just keep popping out of no where it’s rediculous, like they’re foot soldiers.
