I used to listen to Yui back then, Im fine with her music though I dont think I can get hyped watchin her perform live(seen her once at Rock in Japan 2008 - a friend dragged me, her set was meh, but i had a shit ton of fun when GOGO 7188 performed), and concert is all about hype to me.
So say you do get your Bachelors and go to Japan via JET. You get your stable income, are able to save up a bit on the side are are able to live quite comfortable (Judging from the posts in this thread). Now the JET program was an easy way to get into the country with a job waiting for you, but what are the chances of you ever moving on onto other fields… perhaps what you had studied in college :P? Putting the language barrier aside, and the fact that you’ll be a soto forever, are there any other major brickwalls that may await one that would want to reside permanently in Japan and have a decent carreer?
im not familiar with YUI, but I just youtubed a random song out of curiosity and its not as bad as I was expecting given the comments lol, but yea… I wouldnt pay money to see her live. Good luck finding someone though!
Hey random question… but I was looking for this one hair product called Shiseido UNO Acrobat Wire. By any chance, would anyone know if this is only sold in Japan and how much it is over there?
I don’t suppose there’s anyone else on here from the Kumamoto area, by any chance?
There’s a very small group of us down here who play and have a laugh over a bit of football (soccer) on Sundays.
It’s always nice to meet and play new people, so I thought I’d ask on here to see if there’s anyone around.
Majinhurricane, I’d imagine that mid-April would be good for Tokyo - it’s fairly warm, the blossoms will be out and the sun will generally be shining, which means lots of legs on view.
That’s true, but then the sakura and the warm weather are what most visitors are after I suppose. If it were me, I’d take the time to come to Kyushu in late March and enjoy the sakura without having to deal with throngs of drunk salarymen and loud students under every tree. That or wait until August and go to Sendai for the Tanabata festival.
