Is it hotter than last year?? I thought it was crazy last year, and I live in Florida…
haha yeah i think its hotter than last year… and im from Malaysia where its hot all year… i was surprised when i was there 2 weeks ago and felt that its cooler than Japan :shrugs:
Ah damn, I was hoping it would of cooled down by now. It’s gonna take some time to get used to this, especially since British weather is gloomy and pouring rain in the summer and random as hell during the Winter.
Random question: What do you guys think of the pose that Japanese girls (and I guess other asians) do? I can’t really explain why but, it kinda annoys me.
lol i dont know one “peace” sign is normal/typical/aight i guess but japanese do the 2 handed V pose… super peace maybe? lmao
ive got caught doing that pose, though i guess i was influenced by the cute japanese chicks i was takin the pics with haha.
lol@other asians. iirc only the japanese are notorious for the double V pose (to a point of stereotype).
asian aint just japanese/chinese/koreans yaknow.
i used to think its annoying but hey who the fuck am i to criticize how people should post in their pics. not really a big deal.
I mean orientals, I’m just too used to the other countries way of calling orientals, asians and calling other asians, indian, sri-lankian etc.
Over here, tons of other asians do it. My chinese/malay/thai friends always do it when they take pictures, the double V pose? Not so much. I was thinking to myself: ‘Why do I think this annoying, it’s not hurting anyone or anything…’ but yeah, I guess that’s what separates us from the animals, hating on shit for no reason.
Its like 5 times fuckin hotter than last year. It doesnt even feel like heat anymore. Its like fucking heat gravity. Shit is just like the god of heat is trying to crush you into the center of the earth with his ballsacks.
Ive barely gone out since this heat wave started. Alot of bitches wearing leggins and shit anyways so its so disappointing. I hate that shit too. Why is that thing so popular. Straight up ugly. I feel like Muay Thai kicking them in the legs for that shit.
HATE HATE HATE
I don’t remember those black stocking things being so popular last summer. What the hell happened? Too lazy to shave their legs? Oh wait, Japanese girls don’t grow leg hair… No excuses!
I guess Tokyo sucks this year. Wonder if it’s any better in Osaka?
No real change in what girls wear in my neck of the inaka… still dressin’ like 80’s rejects but at least they’re wearing shorts and showing some skin.
I put my app in to Study Abroad in Fukuoka Spring Semester. If the Study Abroad gurus approve me then my app gets sent into the Japanese School and they have to approve me. Then financial aid has to approve, etc.
But the first step was this week’s app. I’m crossing my fingers.
Good luck, sir!
For some reason, I don’t feel like the heat was as bad yesterday. Maybe I’m getting used to it? I hope so anyway. The only way to set up IC cards for things like VF5/sf4 etc is with a JP phone, right?
VF5 is an exception in that they have a kiosk that you can use, but for SFIV and Tekken, at this point in time you need a cell phone.
anyone been to ageha or womb? is it worth it?
and whats with shinjuku sportsland (in shibuya)? it was closed on friday evening. has it shut down? I thought shibuya sportsland was the one thats closing.
shibuya sportsland = shinjuku sportsland shibuya.
i was at womb last week. Its sorta small though. But I guess most of the clubs in Shib are small anyways. Im not sure if this is everybody but the bartender that made my drink that day sucked major homo-ass.
Girls were nice, but I was there for an event, on a monday, during the day… so im not sure what youll find. Oh and it was still hot as fuck inside.
I think the worst of summer heat is actually over.:woot:
Things should be getting back to normal heat from here on out. No more ball sweat at midnight I think.
-edit- Agaha is like “an experience”, so you might as well go if you got the time patience and money. The most famous/worst thing about it is you need to take a magical bus to get there, so you can’t really club hop. Once you decide to go, you are pretty much stuck there, even if you aren’t feeling the vibe. The setup is nice. They got a swimming pool for decoration and about 4 sections of different music. Big outside area, and the people don’t come across as unusually skanky.
If you saw the movie “Babel” that’s the club where the deaf Japanese chick got high.
To me, Womb is just another club.
How widespread is the issue of Japanese School Girls soliciting themselves for “entertainment” and a little bit of “pocket money”? I remember a while back hearing that this has become so common place that it’s becoming a serious issue for the Japanese government. Any of you Japanese residents want to chime in on this?
You sure? Yesterday was pretty bad yo. I hope you’re right, in any case.
VF5FS is the new crack. I enjoyed myself playing that more in one sitting than I’ve enjoyed playing SF4… period. Plus Club Sega (shinjuku) was completely full of VF players, B1 had a ton of matches going.
I actually went to Ageha before. Its pretty cool. Im not much into clubs but I went with some friends and had a good time getting wasted. Also, its the same place as Studio Coast, which is also where I have seen some good metal shows before. You dont need to get on a bus to get there, just take the train to Shin Kiba station. It is true that theres not really anything else around there though.
It’s pretty big. As a gaijin who has never tried, I know exactly where to go, and how to do it. If I know, that means pretty much everyone knows. One particular area is surrounded by cops and police stations patroling on the overpass, but you still got nothing but school girls, their pimps and business men picking them up on the underpass. Everyone knows.
If they REALLY wanted to slow this down, they could…but they are not.
me = asian lookin gaijin = wack
lol
