^planting rice?! Damn Reno, it’s like that? I use to live on a farm up in Hokkaido but that was corn and potatoes. Them rice fields ain’t nothing but sludge! You get J-Man points for that!

Planting rice is a good suggestion. I used to do a garden in a park in Osaka and met a ton of people and learned agricultural Japanese while working the land. Shit was dope. :woot:

Yea my gf’s restaurant is in the boonies of Kyoto so they literally have like 5 or 6 rice fields behind the restaurant and a bunch of vegetable crops as well. I had to help the dad with picking eggplant and bell peppers last summer, it was pretty interesting, me being a city boy all my life and shit.
I wanna play american football here in Kobe but I sent an e-mail to two teams and got ZERO response. It’s shit because I looked at their homepages and I got a good 5cm height advantage over their tallest guy and about 5 pounds on their heaviest guy, both of whom are linemen lol.
And yea dude, if there’s one place where you can pick up girls easily, it’s at Starbucks/any random cafe. Any time a girl has nothing to do, they’ll go to Starbucks.

I spend every weekday chilling with my girlfriend in my town. Before she gets off work I usually play console games at my apartment and then she comes over later and we make dinner and do “other stuff” :lovin:
on weekends I always travel somewhere, usually Tokyo, and I play games all day and then stay out all night till like 6 am drinking. Thats mostly my life right now but its pretty good IMO :wgrin:
also, im thinking of going to the Pizza party thing and bringing a couple other friends with. I dont really wanna lug my stick around, do you think there will be extra PS2 sticks I can use there?
It’s a shame I don’t drink coffee. Maybe I should start. Or be the only dude in the place chomping cookies all day.

I haven’t been to the gym in the while… have to go again. Been lazy/depressed.
Also haven’t been cooking at home because my fridge is dead. Once I move to a new school and new apartment, I’ll be doing that much more often. Eating out all the time sucks no matter what country you’re in.
And I usually drink hot cocoa or have a piece of cake at coffee shops. I never drink coffee.

I was gonna make the album on Photobucket.com and give people access to it. But are there any other suggestions on which service we should use?
I don’t drink coffee, but I really like cocoa. Maybe Ill start hanging out at coffee shops on weekends when I have some down time.

So it sounds like you guys all have a normal usual life there aside from being in a country than isn’t your own. Would you say you guys hang out predominantly with Japanese friends, other foreigner friends, or an even mix of the two?

The album idea sounds nice, but would anyone really want to see pics of our Japan experiences? I dunno, I would rather go to Japan myself if I were in there shoes.
Your mixi stuff is pretty good, all things considering. Mine, on the other hand, is total shit, all things considering. 
HeartNana: we can hit up a coffee shop and I’ll be your wingman as you gain experience fighting hot and cute mini-bosses so you can prep for the FINAL BOSSETTE. Coffee is my thing yo, I drink a good 2 - 3 cups daily. Nothing like a good cup of joe.
A pretty good mix I suppose. I sometimes hang out with other JETs in my town during the week and I have a few other foreign fighting game player friends that live in Tokyo that I chill with on weekends
but at the same time my GF is Japanese and I also sometimes socialize with some of the Japanese players at the arcades outside of just playing against them by talking with them at the arcade and sometimes eating out with them. Also, all the bars I go to have regulars that are Japanese which I talk to every weekend when I go drinking as well.
I think a healthy mix is nice
Also, coffee is pretty top tier but I never go to starbucks, I just drink it every morning before work and I also hit up that free iced Boss coffee from the manga kissa every time i wake up in the morning on weekends

Elvenshadow - Yeah I love the free drinks at the manga kissa. One of the ones I went to a lot had free soft serve ice cream, and free drinks in a fridge aside from the normal vending machine ones, like orange juice, mango juice, assorted milk, tea, etc. I would just drink a ton of OJ, and get some ice cream. It was awesome, haha.
Nowadays I stay at one that has a 10 hour deal, so I get a buncha nachan orange and this awesome hot cocoa with like, a whipped cream topping thing. So good.
yea ive been to a few that have the icecream which is pretty awsome but the one I usually stay at is kinda cheap and shitty but it saves me money so its all good
