You might be accepted when they start beta testing on the PS3. Currently I think it’s PC only.
Game isn’t even out yet and I’m wondering what the expansions will bring.
New classes with every expansion in XI was some cool shit.
Apparently there’s some data mining that says that there will be a few other classes in it that Square-Enix hasn’t confirmed yet. I heard Enforcer(shield bashing), Musketeer(guns), and Fencer(rapiers), among other things.
Sorry, but this music sucks.
Still hype for this game though.
Uematsu is getting old. There are a few standout tracks like the stuff they showed in trailers and the website, but I still like FFXIII’s soundtrack better. The violins and jazz spoiled me.
FFXIII’s soundtrack fit the game perfectly. Perfect blend of modern and classic styles. This game is trying way to hard to sound like LOTR lol…ah well. Anyone else skeptical about the late 2010 target date? I’ve been hearing they’re having tons of trouble with the Alpha.

Yes. There’s a area in FFXIII that looks like it was ripped right from FFXI too. And this just looks like FFXI HD to me. Complete with the galka(sp?) ripoffs too.

Nope, weekends and nights are occupied but daytime is free. Will probably be that way until summer.
I dunno. In this day and age SE should be able to afford putting multiple composers on the team. They’ve got Mitsuda, Hamauzu, Sakimoto, and Mizuta who have all been successful as main composers for FF-related games yet they force Uematsu alone to do the whole thing. Quality and variety is gonna suffer a bit.

Beta gameplay is sped up greatly compared to alpha. Instead of waiting for your bar to fill to use an action it constantly generates and just takes a portion to initiate a command. So you can use maybe 5-6 normal attacks one after another.
