Psycho crusher (non-EX) needs a buff, as it is there is very little reason to use it over scissors.
PC fixes:
Shorten recovery (and block stun to compensate). This helps tp give him a PC whiff/ throw game, and lets you do a quick body hop off of a knockdown.
Fatten hitbox. This helps bring back the PC crossup game. With this combined with change #1, we have a tricky, terrifying special, but not overpowered (they guess right once and you eat a combo).
Increase damage and/or stun. The idea is that from a combo that knocks down, the opponent will be dizzied if he falls for the “PC trap” for too long, like in ST. This also gives Bison a more powerful (albeit less safe) combo ender, and would bring his overall damage up.
What also needs a buff? J.MP. This is so unbearably bad. Bad priority, and going into ultra does piss for damage. Wasn’t this his go-to anti air before?
I don’t think much of anything else needs a buff. Just fixing PC would go a long way to putting fear back in the dictator’s opposition.
Sagat is the only one that really needs a nerf. I hate playing Zangief, but he needs that hp and dmg because it is not easy for him to get close. Only thing for him is his Lariat maybe should have more recovery, it seems like sometimes it wins even if you hit it extremely late with scissors but it could just be poor timing.
Sagat from what I understand is suppose to be more of a zoning/defensive character. Tiger knees shouldn’t be safe ever regardless of spacing, he shouldn’t have that rush down. Something needs to be done about his dmg output/hp because he has so much hp he can afford to whiff a DP and shrug off most characters punishment. And if he guesses right once he can do so much dmg to make up for multiple punishments he’s absorbed when being random with Tiger uppercut. When you consider he can mash for a dp safely once he has 2 bars, it becomes even more stupid.
My only problem with Ryu is his combination of option select and ex tatsu is a bit ridiculous. A move that does 200 dmg, can lead into ultra, and can be comboed into shouldn’t be safe at all. They should make ex headstomp totally safe if they leave Ryu’s ex Tatsu as it is- ex tatsu would still be a better/more dangerous move anyway. Would much rather see ex tatsu be nerfed though. Just look at how Daigo spams that shit, constantly going for a 200 dmg move and it can’t even be considered reckless (like constant dping) because its safe.
Back on topic- with Pc I just hope they do something to separate it’s use from scissors more. Right now they’re almost the same, scissors is just the better move 99% of the time. I think it should move a bit faster regardless, but what they do besides that is **either **
give it a better hitbox so normals/air moves cant beat it/ maybe can’t be thrown. Maybe normals can trade in rare instances but obviously in Bison’s favor. Would still be easily punishable if blocked as it is now.
Make it much more safe. Still can be thrown/easily jabbed ect but it will be the ultimate chip damage move.
Give it either much more stun (preferred) or dmg, so scissors will be Bison’s main tool in a poke-off while PC will have a true use in combos. Can still leave it easily punished, no hitbox as it almost seems now, even can still leave it slow.
Any of these changes would be great. Not even sure which I’d prefer, probably not the second one though (though 60 dmg+ of free chip is nice). Although now that I think about it, the second one might cause people to throw out random jabs and shit more often - and that would make scissors even more effective. It could force the opponent to make more mistakes.
One awesome change they could do with skulldiver (that might make Bison a bit too strong if they tweak it with the PC) is give ex skulldiver super armor. This would automatically make headstomps much more dangerous, and perhaps more worth the risk in whiffing them. Basically the safest thing the other character could do is block and just take the chip, because it unlikely they’d react properly if its an ex SD. Other characters would have to go for reverse DPs to break the armor, but that means Bison could easily bait and punish those when he lands. Just might make that whole mix up much more effective.
either that or make SD and DR allow for crossovers. As it is, it is almost IMPOSSIBLE to land either in high rank games, which renders both moves null and void. At the VERY FUCKING LEAST, ex SD should not be nullified by cHP

problem solved with an ultra like that he does not need a setup.
EX bison was the best in my opinion. the fact that he had a c.hp anti-air and the s.hk like he does now made him godly but that psycho-cannon was crazy. bring that back.

you can see that there are now two ultra meters! They really better not F this up. i really hope the old chars aren’t just kept the same with new chars and new gameplay elements added. Dictator doesn’t absolutely require a buff but there’s no doubt none of us would be displeased if he got some extra goodies. Can’t wait!
