Well, regarding a turtling Yun… If they’re cornered and still get a GJ activation, all it takes is some strings and a command grab, and suddenly positions are switched and Yun will have 1/3 meter back from the GJ ender.
I dunno, there’s a lot of character-specific jazz always going on, but as a Chun player I definitely am a lot more scared of runaway Yun players that charge for GJ as opposed to the ones that attack. Chun can take a lot of risks vs. a meterless Yun and the payoff is usually an SA2, which is total pain to Yun. Once Yun gets GJ activated though, you can’t out-poke him, you gotta just block and wait, and Chun-specific GJ combos hurt like hell, 'specially since you can close MK launcher right off of a command grab.
Dunno, seems like against the other toptiers, it’s good to turtle up just a bit to get meter, since it Yun with meter is scary as hell vs. Chun, and vs. Ken, one combo, even without Shippu, also hurts. :<
That’s just my experience though. I really like Yuns that attack, they give me less trouble than the runaways.

EDIT: Wow, this vid kicks ass. All Ryu/Necro ownage, with some Remy, Q, Twelve, Yang, and Akuma sprinkled in for flavour. It’s not the usual ChYun fest at ALL.

I don’t know what sort of magical bittorrent tracker KSK has, but these videos download faster than anything else I’ve ever seen. It’s almost like having a direct connection to a server 3 feet from my computer.
Yeah, I was hopin to see Aruka, but oh well… The only Yun is Issay, who IMO is the most fun to watch Yun-wise.
Hahaha… I loved the Ryu/Necro match 2/3 of the way in… just for the 2-hit Tatsu that did massive damage after the Necro missed the full parry… so crazy…
Good matches in general. Makes me wonder if I should learn Akuma/Gouki.
I’m sure the Ryu’s that played could beat my ass, but wasn’t there a scrubby amount of hadoukens being thrown out?
It’s magical because there are actually seeders unlike most leech fest torrents.

I’d throw a Hadoken too if Necro was doing nothing but b+Strong to build meter…
yeah that one Ryu looked pretty scrubby at first, but then he busts a dash-in Crouching Short, Crouching Jab, Shin-Shoryuken out of nowhere. So you never know.
yea its always wack to see some player throw hadoukens from fullscreen away, but its usually to keep OR the opponent grounded or that he has to jump over, which gives you SOME kind of advantage, as in you know what he can do parry/block/jump and act accordingly.
