Yeah some dude was playing me, destroyed my Sakura 3 rounds in a row with cheap shit. Played me again, I decided to mirror match him with gief, I mashed KKK and spd and ended up beating him. It was so easy and stupid. I switched back to Sakura after that and beat him again, so I was pretty happy about that, but it was about 100x as hard with my own character than it was just using gief. So scrubby.

Wow, so as everyone knows the intro track for SFIV is god awful. Then I’m riding home from work and the afternoon dj on Q101 is like, “um here’s the new track sick puppies that’s being used for the SFIV commercials”.

I hadn’t seen any commercial spots for it yet, but I was assuming it was on the same shittastic level as the current intro track. Check it out:

Knowing this track was available and fully usable/licensed, I’m just like WTF WERE THEY THINKING now that they picked that boyband shit for the intro. I mean the commercial song isn’t the greatest thing in the world, but it’s at least a tolerable track that GETS YOU PUMPED TO BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF SOMEONE. Seriously.

Just makes me pissed they had a great viable alternative and they chose shit. Doesn’t make or break the game, but a bad bad call.

yeahhhh, won my gamestop tourney. There was about 30ish people. Got my headband and 2 wristbands to wear around. It was on xbox360 controllers, and we weren’t allowed to change the buttons. It was also 1 match, 3 of 5, single elim. I couldn’t do any ultras since i was using the analog, so I just beat the other dudes with anticipatory j.hk and sweep with sagat lolol.

There was one other dude that was pretty good and knew what he was doing, he was hella turtley and that match came to the last hit of the last round. I played him like 3rd round. After that, I went on and annihilated fools in semi and finals.

Man, I’m pretty hype about SF4. My roommate is thinking about getting it on his 360 cuz he wants to play his friends on xbox live, so I might be able to play online on both ps3 and 360.
