oh with rose, standing MP, crouching MP, drill works but it depends on range, also you can get it after cross-up medium kick. It’s just too inconsistant… one of the things that annoys me about the game.
So yea. SF4 is pretty gotdamn technical, but I don’t know how to apply proper pressure. Halp.

honestly crouching jabs (character dependent) are amazing pressure tool in this game
Especially with characters like ryu who can link shoryu off of a c.lp and then FADC into ultra
i dont know who I should main in SFIV… I wanted to main Cammy but shes not very good in this game… still considering her though but…
suggestions based on those who know my play style?
…So yeah I sold my copy of sf4.
Everything from how floaty and rigid the game feels…to the shitty collision detections making both trading a normality (so much so its a nesscesity strategically) and moves randomly completely whiffing (me doing a Zangief splash right through Ari in a game last night FTL comes to mind)…to the shitty ‘story’ mode…to the annoyingly bad music, sound effects and voices, etc etc…
The experience just got worse the more I played it as a street fighter fan.
To me its painfully obvious that this game is a case of injection of franchinse.
Meaning: it probably wasn’t a Street Fighter game…it was an outsourced engine (from Dimps) that they decided to inject Street Fighters traits into.
For me to get into that game is going to have to take some serious new breakthroughs in gameplay that somehow make the game not feel like SF EX4.

As an EX player. I honestly don’t feel that SF4 feels like an EX game. From the spacing, to the jumps. It all feels different to me. More like 3s IMHO. But I’m sure most of you will disagree with me.
So maybe an EX/3s hybrid.

they changed a lot of stuff that I liked in the other street fighter games, it just feels too different even though a lot of it is familiar
for me its just something to play during the week when I cant go to the arcade. im not serious enough about the game to try to enter any SBO tournaments or anything LOL!

SF4 isn’t a technical monstrosity, but it’s simple, flashy and lots of fun.
Isn’t that the same thing about the original SF2 that got us all hooked?

As of right now, we should have a complete TE setup on the 42" lcd, and a hori ex2 setup on another tv. I still have a 24" HD monitor that can take another 360 or PS3. Let me know whats up people!!

Pretty much this is exactly how I feel, but replace GG with BB. 
I’m feeling the game… but damn are there a lot of Sagat’s out there.
Yeah I was so mad when that developer stopped making games like Out of this world and Flashback.
Going from Out of this World and Fashback to Shaq Fu and Moto Racer is a fast (and hard) fall. 
However, the Sony studio that made Ico and Shadow of the Colossus (two of my favorite games ever) is carrying the torch imo…very similar vibe.
I can’t wait for their next game.

Yeah, those 2 games are brilliant. Shadow of the Colossus became an all-time favorite within like the first 2 hours of playing. I played it on a whim too, nothing from the screens to box art really interested me, but the game is superb.
I’d highly suggest mirrors edge if you enjoyed out of this world/flashback.
ME requires a lot of the same “you have to do this correctly, or you die” gameplay that made those old games so much fun. Don’t worry about the EA logo either…it was only published by them, developed by dice.
