Woo my TE came in today at GS. I’ll pick it up soon, hopefully it’s in one piece.
Apparently, I was the only one who reserved a TE for any system at my GameStop. Would any of you believe that the three nearest GameStops from my house are approximately 8.5 miles away in three equal and opposite directions? I essentially live in a GS deadzone with an 8.5 mile radius with no other game stores in sight (nearest Game Crazy is 11.5 miles). You would think someone in charge at GameStop might see some profitability in setting up a store in a city with a population of over 95,000 (Elgin). :looney:

The TE I picked up at gamecrazy works 100% with no blemishes or anything else getting reported in the stick thread. Awesome stick, and it works great. I’m really happy with it.
GS still has no idea where the TE I reserved there is. I told one of the managers there today I’m giving them a week to figure out the situation and get the stick there, if not I’m getting my cash back.
I did however, pick up the sagat powercrotch faceplate there :D.
Thing is awesome, and although the faceplates are a hefty $30 bucks, they do look outstanding on the 360. I don’t think I’ll be taking mine off anytime soon. Really nice product if you like silly tacky shit haha.

I ordered SF4 from Amazon with next day shipping so that I would get it today…apparently they are backed up and it didn’t ship on the FUCKING SHIP DATE (which was yesterday) so I won’t get it until the 19th at the very earliest.
Dammit, I specifically ordered it this way to avoid a delay.

I got the call from GS the other day, went to go pick it up and it’s legit. There’s a few tiny scrapes on the top of mine but that’s nothing that wasn’t going to happen in the future anyway. Screws and everything else are perfectly fine. Plays like a dream.
In comparison from the SE to the TE… Well, no comparison really. Although the stock parts on the SE are okay, they’re not really quality parts if you know what I mean. Just a tip, anyone who’s thought about getting the SE should definitely consider putting some Sanwa parts in (which will run you about an additional +$35 depending on where you order). Sure, it’s not a TE but you’ll be playing on something just as good, if not better. But if your concerned with voiding your MadCatz warranty, that’s understandable. I’m probably going to do this to my SE pretty soon.
