The setups were okay minus the fact everyone was being a douche about there chairs and didn’t even know the meaning of “Get off the setup it’s for a tourney.” I literally told 2 of the random kidz there to GTFO for one of the ST setups.
Next, I think the need for more tournaments will attract more people. If Screenz had monthlys and such for a variety of games Like 3-D’s,2-D’s and hey Smash makes money keep that shit to. Hate to say it but watching that fucking Naruto shit was worse than me watching a CVS2 match and I know how dull that game can be at times. It has potential the place just really need to get it’s shit together.

Next time, since the construction will be done, we will have better space allocated and more set ups. Everything you’ve said was just plain whining. As a TO, it’s hard to manage 115 people and 8 games in a basement, but we did a decent job. Now we’re more organized with more set ups than ever before and it’ll be great.

I could have tourneys or just casuals 2x a month or so. my house in Lisle is right off of the highway and near a train station so its a decent location for a lot of people, and i have a good amount of space.
I was thinking if a few people could rotate locations in an organized way It would be good for the community.
The goal would be to have games somewhere every week at least for sure and not split energy as much. lazy people would go to the closer locations and good players would go to any of them. also if someone stopped or just couldn’t do it one week there would be backups to prevent any significant lulls in activity.

It looks like you didn’t organize shit for one, and two, we organized events with 61 people in one and had to deal with multiple tournaments with 20 people each going on all at the same time. I think we did a fucking great job for the limited set ups and support we were given. What did YOU do, besides complain?
