announced? yes, but ask the store, some of them apparently have been making exceptions. Though thats good for round 1, no garuntee that you’ll have those lenient stores in rounds 2, 3 and GF’s.

I really don’t care. The one that’s closest to me (on dundee next to caribou) apparently isn’t a tourney store, so the Arlington Heights location on Rand is probably the next best location for me. If that’s the one your going to, don’t worry about it. I’d rather we’d start this game off with some good old fashioned hate/competition then stress over who’s gonna dominate which GS in the chicago area 
All I really care about is getting my TE stick before or at launch. If that happens, I’m all good.
On you’re ps, I 100% agree with you. SFIV is going to light a match under this scene again. Those who aren’t taking it competitively/seriously are going to get burned quickly and left in the dust. Those who do take it seriously will once again have that passion and determination to become top players, the thing that made fighting games so addictive to me 15 years ago. All you new players out there trying to prove something to the scene, this is YOUR TIME to step up and show everyone you can compete in an entirely new game. I really hope everyone is up to the challenge
