That game was cool. You could put music CDs in your playstation to generate new monsters.
Yea I only played Blue and Yellow. Didn’t play another till Platinum which I hated and made me fall asleep. Sword is the first Pokemon I’ve played since Platinum.
Definitely interested in the “new” Pokemon Snap … I wonder how long I’ll play it before I want to play something else 
Monster Rancher was a great concept with the CD thing. It wasn’t just music CDs either… any CD would do…even things like demo cds and old AOL discs if I recall… I was using everything I could find to get new monsters.
…such a shame though that it only had turn-based combat. This forever made it a mixed bag for me. I tolerated the game having that flaw because I loved the concept so much.
When it came to portable systems (I had it on GBA) you just typed in random words or phrases and you’d spawn a monster.
Iirc you had to use up a CD or something in your in-game inventory as well. I could be completely off base on that one though

Hey anyone else finish Xenoblade Chronicles Future Connected?
I personally was disappointed. It wasn’t bad but very limited. After playing Torna for XBC2, which was basically it’s own game. Future Connected left a lot to be desired. I knew it wasn’t going to be as expansive as Torna but you don’t get any real status update on the bulk of the cast. You have Shulk, Melia, and two of Riki’s kids. I found somethings about it interesting but by in large it was forgettable overall. I was thinking this would be something like Mass Effect 3’s Citadel DLC. It was more like an extended version of an ME2 Loyalty mission for Melia.
Man…that comparison at the end of the spoiler was so illustrative. I’ve never played any of the Xenoblade games but I get exactly what you mean with that Mass Effect comparison.
I’ll watch after the fact. My ass is not waking up at fucking 7:30 am, I don’t give a shit if it’s Sakurai.
I will be either on my way to work or just arriving at that time so, hopefully later in the day I see Twintelle or Min Min or Dr. Coyle as the pick and not the generic Spring Man or his robot clone too many people are saying will be the choice.

Someone on the amiibo subreddit brought up a hella good point though. At the end of every Smash Ultimate Direct Sakurai has announced the next amiibo wave for Ultimate. We’re still missing amiibo for the entire Season 1 roster of characters.
If those get announced tomorrow at the end of the ARMS direct I will be so god damn happy. I need Banjo, Terry and Hero in my life. God help me if they do a Hero 4-Pack with all his Alts.
In regards of what character it is; most people suspect it’s Min-Min, Twintelle or Helix. All good choices, imo.
