Got my dad a Switch off Best Buy. He can pick it up on Thursday since that is the day it’ll be in. My sister has really gotten into Animal Crossing and she wanted him to play and check out what she did with her island/house. So I thought I’d see if Best Buy had any Switches in stock and thankfully they did! (Amazon is still trying to sell those suckers used for $450 and up. Eff outt with that) So along with Animal Crossing, I also got him. Bayonetta 2. He loved the first game and since it isn’t on Steam yet, he can finally play it.

There hasn’t been any good sales on the PC version lol. Besides, I could use some RPGs on my Switch.

He’s been enjoying it as he doesn’t need to ask permission to play on the TV. He mostly plays Smash and Kirby Star Allies on it. I’ll probably have to get him some new games soon.

Mr. DRILLER DrillLand is out today! I really enjoyed the first Mr. Driller. Never played any of the oook ther gamea but this is a HD re-release of a GameCube game that was a Japanese exclusive. There’s a demo up as well.

back to playing Streets of Rage 4 again… I’m at the point of unlocking SOR3 characters now… really just looking forward to unlocking the main man Shiva though. I keep going through on Arcade mode over and over now…
One small nitpick though; it would’ve been really nice if you had alternate color choices for the characters…or even better a “Color Edit” or alternate costumes entirely…actually yeah I’d prefer color-edit…they never do that in games with 2d graphics anymore, and that’s a shame. It adds nice variety if the characters can look drastically different each time.
sheeeeittttt, now I’m imagining all the cool possibilities! Imagine… Floyd recolored to have GOLD arms, man…GOLD! Put Axel in an all-black outfit, or recolor Shiva to have a white outfit, or new sexy outfits for Blaze…this would be delicious.

I’m hoping those July-August reveals from Squeenix give us some tasty ass drops.
I mainly want
- More FF Ports (Gimme, 4, 4 The After Years, 5, 6, and XII Revenant Wings you cowards
- More Classic DQ Ports (Since the 3DS is dead port the 7 & 8 remakes as a dual pack for the Switch. Also gimme 4-6. Also also if they remade the original DQ Monster Games I’d be the happiest boy ever)
- New IP’s
- Star Ocean Second Story Port
- Bravely Default II release date.
We’ll also likely get our first trailer of the just recently announced The World Ends with You anime
To keep this more switch oriented, anyone plan on getting any of the upcoming games I have mentioned in the thread title? Or did anyone pick up the games I mentioned that are on sale?
