I’m not a huge fan of the stabilizers either but oh well.

I’m hyped for all those Mii Costumes. Bomberman looks like a legit character. And he gets multiple colors.

I mean, yeah. I’m excited regardless.

The amiibo for Joker is a legit contender for the best amiibo they’ve ever produced. It’s as good if not better than Ice Climbers and Ridley. All the small, subtle but intricate details like the shading on the flame are insane.

His clothes (not the duster) and hair are amazingly detailed too. The face part of the sculpt is simplistic as well as incredibly clean and well designed.

It’s pose it great too for the fact the flame is the stabilizer for the figure as the flame wraps around most of Joker’s foot and hugs certain parts of his lower torso.

It’s an amazing piece.

Are there hard to find amiibos currently? Might want to pick up a few characters that I like and start a small collection. Need some things to put on my shelves lol.

Ummmm. It depends on what ones you’re looking for. Nintendo kinda fucked up their own market for amiibo so supply can be scarce. If you’re in the states/Canada than The best place to look to get an idea of what is readily available is Best Buy.

Most of the amiibo pre-smash ultimate can be hard to find and/or moderately expensive through 3rd party sellers

Edit: Amazon is an okay place to find older ones but expect to pay almost or over double the MSRP ($12.99) for most of them

As I’ve been cleaning my amiibo it’s the first time I’ve really looked at them in a while. If ever. I’ve stated that the waves they’ve released from BotW-On has been their best work. I still stand by that cause some of the sculpts are truly incredible for how small they are.

Pokémon Trainer sticks out among the best. Up there with Joker, Ridley and Ice Climbers. All the small details are great. How he grips the pokeball, the vs seeker on his vest, how detailed and textured his jeans are. There’s a lot of little things that make it a great piece. It’s all so good.

This could very well be my favorite battle royal game and I say that as someone that greatly enjoys Tetris 99.

Was watching vids on this yesterday. Hammer Bros. are CRAZY agressive in this game. You know how they keep approaching you in Lost Levels but are perfectly normal when you pass them. If you pass them up in SMB35, those suckers will chase after you like owe them money. Stuff is insane.

Yo Mario35 is a bit harder than I expected. Also at first I thought it was just speedrunning then I learned the other stuff at the third try

I was down to the last two contenders in Mario 35- myself and one other… and my wife walked in front of the TV and made me miss a jump :rage:

2nd place is the best I’ve done so far.

My son is obsessed with Mario right now and he’s been watching Mario 3D World videos on youtube for a while now, and I’m legit excited for that game to come to Switch since I never owned a Wii U. I’ve watched a bit of the videos and that game looks pretty damn awesome.

I also showed him online today in Mario Maker 2 and he saw 3D World levels on there and when I filtered by easy 3D world levels he was in heaven being able to play infinite amounts of levels. He loved the auto levels and all this shit going on while he just watches or just holds down to ground pound.

I hadn’t played Mario Maker 2 in months but just got another year of NSO and forgot how awesome that game is.

I had a baby sitting gig during the Wii U versions being ‘relevant’ and the kids loved it. The Game Pad features added to that, but not knowing about them isn’t the end of the world. The game is awesome.

I wouldn’t have double dipped on this release if it wasn’t the new levels. It’s an easy recommendation for first time players, and helps complete the 3D Mario collection (SMG 2 nowithstanding).

If you wanna see how crazy Super Mario Bros. 35 can get, check out this video. I don’t think I will ever complain about enemy spam in Super Mario Maker 2 again after seeing this.
