Yeah, I think with Nintendo, did both genders for Corrin but that was closer to the peak of the amiibo bubble.

Ehhhhh. The amiibo bubble burst around the first animal crossing and the launch of the amiibo cards. Which was well before the final Smash 4 amiibo.
They flooded the market with collectively about 425 some odd amiibo for a series that may as well had no support (Happy Home Designer and that dumb ass board game). New leaf didn’t even get amiibo support until essentially a full calendar year after happy home designer.
By then it didn’t matter. Shit was garbage. Nintendo’s arrogance killed their own market for it by pissing off retailers. Now outside of Best Buy no one really carries them anymore outside of preorders

I know not everyone is hype for Steve in Smash but think if the edge guard possibilities. Some is trying to make it back tonthe stage and they can’t because you put an L in front of it. Or you spell out “nope”. Online doubles are gonn be stupid fun with Steve.

Has nothing to do with that. I have no real opinion about it. Its why I haven’t said anything outside of telling someone to shut the fuck up and quit making broad statements about people not chomping at the bit to defend Pertho.
I’m going to go where I can still talk to the people I talk to from here. If the mass exodus continues and more people leave for MegaShock there’s less incentive of me staying. That’s it.
