The Nintendo Switch Thread v. Come post on Mega Shock!: I’m not updating this anymore

How easy is it to clean the guts of a pro controller? For whatever reason A few weeks ago my left thumb stick started to drift to the left. I’ve had this pro controller since launch and this is the first time this has ever happened.

It’s not all the time but it’s enough that’s it’s been effecting my gameplay in almost every game I’ve been playing.

I’ve been using my back-up pro controller but I’d like to fix the problem if I can.

No clue but I have taken many other controllers apart and as long as you go slow and pay attention it’s not too hard.

Spawn wave should have a video on taking one apart.

Welp, seeing as how the last one was recieved by so many entitled Nintey fans that wanted news on BOTW2 and Metroid Prime 4, I’m gonna assume the position.

But it’s an indi showcase. Zelda and Metroid literally can’t be there lol.

The couple of times I’ve ordered from LRG, it’s been nothing less than stellar. The Switch copy of Moero Chronicle H, I got from them along with my physical copy of the Command and Conquer remasters.

Dude, no shit. I was gonna post a similar sentiment.

That’s cool and all but I don’t feel like paying a extra just for a cartridge and case. I have nothing against people that do. It’s your money. Do what you what.

I’m going to go with whatever format gets me the most for the least money. LRG doesn’t do that for me. However, If the game is the same price Regardless of format digital and physical than I’ll go physical. But again, rarely are they the same price.

I also really don’t care about longevity of a console past it’s console life. Not that I dislike or don’t care about going back to visit those old games but I don’t buy games as a x amount of year long term investment.

I know I just kinda repeated myself from the comment you’re replying to. But yeah lol.

I 100% get why people support them and love them and prefer physical over digital whenever able. But I just don’t care about that anymore when it comes to interactive mediums

Cries In ice climbers and kid Icarus and f-zero and game and watch and wario platformers and…

never said those or any other nintendo games aren’t indie tier

I gave up on F-Zero after all the time I spent on beating story mode on the hardest difficulty years ago (okay except for the final stage). F-Zero has nothing left to offer me as I seriously doubt they’ll ever make a story mode that hard ever again. I even went out of my way to get the Arcade custom parts.

as for any other game you could mention, many had a small run for maybe one or two generations, are a meme game, have a non existent fan bases.

For me, Advance Wars died once Intelligent systems took their chances on Fire Emblem and it took off leaving behind what should have spawned more games. It’s indie tier in Nintendo to me.

On the chat of taking Pro controllers apart, anyone ever replaced a right analog stick?

We couldn’t find the controller I borrowed from my friend, and turns out it was stuck in the power reclining seats, and opening them to expose this issue slowly ripped the thumb stick top part on the one that I borrowed from my buddy. It’s also scratched to shit in like 2 places because of where it was wedged apparently.

I will give him my Pro controller no problem but if possible and easy I’d replace the fucked up stick. It works but it has this huge gash on the top of the thumbstick and just feels weird. ANyone every replaced one?

I don’t think they cared enough about their portables in general. They were GREAT consoles except for the fact that Sony seemed to get bored of them way too soon and thankfully the hacking community gave, the PSP especially, a whole new lease on life.

I pulled my PSP out a few months ago after my Vita broke and it’s amazing how small, light and ergonomic it feels now when it used to feel like a tank to me

I had Goetia on my wishlist and saw that it was on sale for $.99 when it’s normally ten bucks so I snagged it. Some of these sale prices are insane.

I’ll probably play that once I’ve run through Vampyr again (and killing EVERYONE of course!) I’ve reached a point where things are getting pretty tough and I’m not sure if it’s because I haven’t really been feeding on many citizens for the EXP or if I just need to git gud.

Sharla just joined my party. Part 1 has a way better cast already.

Also were cosmetics a new thing for definitive? I assume it is because I don’t get why part 2 wouldn’t have this.

They are but they aren’t. Cosmetics were in the original one but only if you wore the full set of gear. In definitive once you own unlock styles of gear you can mix and match

2 has it as DLC if you beat the challenges. The common theory is that several aspects that would appear as DLC were planned for the main game but due to timing they were cut.

I got Northgard on sale ($15) and now Ill just have to wait for Hades and Captain Tsubasa to come out. Is a rts about vikings that focuses on economy more than the battle aspect

I like that they have it set up that way in Vampyr—it pushes the temptation to feed that much more. The “nice guy” route will definitely be a tough road in that game, since Jonathan will be a drastically weaker vamp.

ha, one funny little moment I just remembered… seeing that 1 woman that was “compelled” to eat rats. I just left her to it on my first run… didn’t really want to interfere with another vamp’s twisted form of amusement. Maybe next time I’ll kill her or something… I think that was an option, if I recall.
