The Nintendo Switch Thread v. Come post on Mega Shock!: I’m not updating this anymore

Actually I nabbed her last night. She said she wanted to be freed from life so I obliged her, it’s noble in a way😆 I actually tried to lead her over to where the rats were near one of the hideouts but I couldn’t remember the way. I agree with you though, there’s definitely a price to be paid for being too virtuous and not feeding and my next run, I’m definitely going to be getting everyone.

The Pembroke fell into Hostile last night so everyone there is dead, but I found out that I didn’t need to hit the basement of the Old Morgue which was good because it was crawling with Prewen assholes that kept hanging up on me and killing me. That and the MacCullum fight have been two of the toughest bits of the game this far.

Yeah…saw that rumor

Give Jeff Grubbs track record since late last year I 100% believe him. Even if he’s over/under by a day or whatever. A direct at the end of August has been said by quite a few credible leakers since the early spring and early summer as well.

Also I went to a friends house tonight. All 4 of us played Arms a fuck ton. Game is hella good. Some of the vs. modes are super fun. The volley ball mode got intense between all of us.

Then we had a chill sesh with Kirby Star Allies. Then after 2 of them went to bed (they’re married) the other friend and I popped Arms back in and kept playing for another few hours. I’m winding down getting for bed right now.

The game looks and arguably feels so 1 dimensional on the surface but as the arsenal for every character opens up (you have to unlock everything via mini game that is only playable by having enough in-game currency) the game becomes surprisingly deep.

I don’t really use the terms hidden gem or sleeper hit a lot. But Arms imo is 100% both of those.

From the time I played Arms during the demo I could tell it was a lot of fun. IIRC it did get a mill in sales so it didn’t quite make the splash that Splatoon did but I hope they give it another go whenever the new console happens.

So I’m generally against the idea of buying 3rd party accessories for systems but: does anyone know of any good 3rd party docks? Preferably ones that don’t brick the god damn system.

I’m wanting a second dock so I have one for my living room but I also don’t want to pay almost $100 for everything off Nintendo’s website.

I haven’t looked into any extra docks so I don’t know.

Sorry Stu.

From everything I’ve heard you should stick with the official Nintendo dick.

They got a built in Game Cube adapter, and the Purple model has Bluetooth compatibility with headphones.

The other alternative is there empty plastic shells that takes the board from the official Nintendo Dock, but they cost more as you need a official dock to take apart

Finished Capt Toad at last. Cute game but it felt like you could port it to mobile. Other issue is the clumsy way I played a few stages in handheld mode between holding the system but pressing the touchscreen for certain parts. I love problem solving games though so this worked well with the short courses that you could do in a few min each.

They did. It’s also on 3DS. The 3DS port released the same day as the Switch port

I meant mobile phone. The games short but sweet puzzle solving maps and ease of controls make it easy to consider if Nintendo were to port another game to mobile phone.

If you like problem solving games, check out Baba Is You.

It get’s EXTREMELY hard though. I never finished it.

True, it was originally based on a mini game in 3D World that they spun off into it’s own title.

posted this in the VGG thread, but I bought Trials of Mana off Gamefly based off of Stuart’s impressions; and it’ll be here sometime in the next week or so. Also got some eShop credit as well off Amazon, and picked up Minmin for Smash and I’m holding onto the rest of the $20 so I can either pick up Diablo Eternal Collection or get Splatoon 2.
