I know trade marks don’t mean much but dammit dont do that; don’t give me hope
Man sorry I missed this. I woulda been down to play with you. Maybe next time.
So anyone play Panzer Paladin yet? I’m 4 stages deep and so far really liking it. Actually feels like an old game instead of just looking like one.
- Googles up Panzer Paladin *
How have I been sleeping on this?
It looks awesome
It’s on my wish list. I might pick it up when I get paid on Wednesday. Or when it goes on sale.
I don’t know. I just know I’ll get it eventually it looks dope Af
Picked up a nice 512GB Samsung SD card with 100MB/sec read speed for $40 off Amazon. Originally it was $90-100 but I had some Amex points I was able to use to shave off some of the price. Now to redownload all the games I had to archive before MK11 rekt my space with that update!
Btw is there any benefit to using the SD storage more and trying to keep the onboard storage free or no?
The internal storage will technically be faster on paper. But that is assuming the internal memory isn’t also the same kind of solid state memory found in a SD card. But the difference will be so minutiae that you might not notice it with out an oscilloscope or a logic analyzer.
If they are the same, then you see zero difference regardless.
Gotta say that I’ve been enjoying the hell out of my switch lite ever since I got it. I bought the hori clear case with the grips, a 200gb card, and have been off to the races. I never thought I’d go this hard digitally, but some of the sales have been worth it. I must also admit that I prefer the lite to the regular switch. My boy brought his to work and I hopped on it to play darksiders genesis, but the system felt quite a bit uncomfortable to hold. There wasn’t that much difference in the screen size neither, in my opinion. I got Dragon’s Dogma during the cashcom sale and it’s been a wrap.
Awesome. Yeah I’ve been the same way RE digital games, but I have all these old PS2/3, etc games that probably won’t play again hanging around taking up space, so the idea of not having to worry about that is appealing. Is the Lite actually lighter weight wise than the regular switch?
It is to me. As soon as I grabbed my boy’s switch, I joked that it felt like I was holding an Atari Lynx lmao. I like the form factor of mine (with the hori case, of course). Being a Vita man, it pisses me off how Sony dropped the ball. I still can’t believe how well some of these PS2/PS3 era games run on the switch.
My switch felt really big after playing on Vita. The Vita and PSP were two of my favorite systems of all time before I got my Switch, I wish I could hack my switch for emulation without the possibility of getting it banned.
There’s some guy on OfferUp that’s charging $280 to hack the v2 and lites, saying something about some expensive chip that he’d have to put in, a week process to get it done, etc
Expensive Chip LOL? The Chip not expressive, its just a difficult soldering job.
Just get a second one strictly for hacking.
Preferably a first Gen Launch model, they got a hardware flaw that can’t be patched.
this “Bite the Bullet” caught my attention, and it’s out now----yeah more than likely this is next up for me
I don’t want to pay the equivalent of another switch or buy another one to have emulation capabilities. I have enough great games on it that emulating would just be a nicety, and I’m ok with waiting for a potentially better hacking method to come down the pike like it did for the Vita.
Can you get online with a hacked Vita? Seems like it’s pretty standard generally speaking, with hacked consoles not working online and being banned.
Yeah I was able to play online with my Vita. I guess I’m more cautious with the Switch because I actually bought it to be able to play some of the games I have on it online.
I feel like Sony just didn’t care enough about security on portables if that is the case. I remember having PSP hacked and I could go online with that as well. Never had a Vita though.
Sony is all but abandoned the Vita, so they don’t care. Nintendo will sue the piss out of someone for messing with 30+ year old designs.
