Nintendo needs to drop the megabloks contract and go all in on Lego. imagine them making lego pokemon collectible models. Heck if they wanted to really cash in, put them inside pokeballs and make them another blind bag.

I’m going to get back on Astral Chain and my first Master Mode run on BOTW later tonight.
I got the Arrow Legion and finally able to access the upgrade tree for my Legions.
The Cerebus boss fight was some bullshit.
Triggered my MHW PTSD, with the roar stuns!!

Wild to me that BW/BW2 sold so low since they’re the best games in the series when it comes to narrative, world building and character development. All the things people justifiably harp on Pokémon for not having much of if any at all.

Animal Crossing is only trailing MK8D by 4m and some change as the consoles best selling title to date. And the switch has sold just over 61m units. The first pic below is the top 5 selling games on the Switch

All of the ’ enhanced’ games in generations sell less. Also with B2W2, that was a DS game released more then a year after the 3DS launched.

I am not surprised. It was supposed to be a single Upgrade title to B & W called Grey, and Nindy wanted to milk a dry cash cow.
Are we ever going to get Mario Kart 9? I would hate to think an updated port of the Wii U game is all we gonna get this generation.

I don’t see the issue, MK8 came out on the Switch like it was a brand new game, at new game prices.
And all the DLC on the game card. It had all the right check marks in the right places, and it satified that Mario Kart itch.
Far as I am concern the Wii U was a Non-entry. I don’t consider the Wii U ports on the Switch as actual Ports, it is as if the games were coming out for the very first time. And that is how the majority of actual Switch owners are treating it as those games hit the Nintendo Switch Market. Far as the market is concern, there was no Wii U console. The people who actually remember the Wii U is the minority.

Not on the Switch. Unless they have nothing else major besides BoTW 2 and plan on the Switch going into late 2022.

I bet they save it for later in the gen if it comes out at all. 8 is a pretty excellent game, if it had a bit of tuning it would be perfect imo, and maybe they could add a few more tracks, but barring those things, i don’t see why they’d come out with a new one when MK8D is doing so well right now.

I hated on 8D initially but it grew on me once I started playing online with people.
If they aren’t going to give us a new game, I’d love if they gave us some new tracks. Like 4 new cups or something. I’d pay like $15 or $20 for 4-6 new cups. And I’m sure I’m not the only one.

My one problem with 8 that borders on nearly making it unplayable to me is how often lightning bolts happen. Absolutely cripples the momentum and pace of the race every time

This could be fixed with SUCH a simple solution too.
Just have a way to turn on/off specific items, at least just in private lobbies. That would solve so many of those kinds of gripes, one that I hold too, when you just wanna play with friends.
