We just got restocked Ring Fit Adventure. I might end up getting it while on lunch. I need to do some sort of exercise and apparently Ring Fit is legit.
Can’t hurt to try. It MSRP’s for $80 and I can get it for $65.

I been seeing Ring Fit Adventure getting restocked by various retailers. I’m thinking of getting it myself.
Just started Astral Chain, any tips for a NOOB?
Get good scrub!
Lol. In all seriousness I have no idea. I own it but haven’t played it
just get the modders ready and deliver no mercy hd please
Do you HAVE to have that ring thing to play it or can you just use the joycons?
I got both of my joycons back from Nintendo today after sending them in for the drift issue. It took about 3 weeks for them to send me the UPS label to ship to them after I created the repair ticket and then about 2.5 weeks for them to get back to me from the day I shipped them out.
The 2 they sent back to me are clearly not the ones I sent to them and I’m 99% sure they are just brand new joycons. They have no wear and tear on em and the finish on them actually looks like it’s more of a matte finish than the ones I had with my launch Switch. But the finish could just look different too since it’s brand new and mine clearly had been worn in a bit.
My GF sent off three pairs and all of them were new pairs. Now at this point I just expect to get new joycons. I have an old pair that I haven’t sent off yet that were my pair at launch.
That’s what they do 99% of the time.
Take your broken ones, add then to a pile and ship out already repaired or new Joycons.
The used joycons are either fully refurbished or thrown out, depending what’s more viable for Nintendo and their workload.
I can also see the once broken and now refurbished Joycons being sold by a subsidiary or 3rd party on Amazon/eBay or to places like GaneStop.
I’m definitely worried about the joycons getting blown out since I generally play in handheld mode.
So I was today years old when I found out you could press the item button to make the piranha plant chomp in mk8d. I always thought it had its on AI.
I pretty mash that thing when I have it because I just want to get rid of it. That thing is more in the way than it is useful in that game. I feel that way about the boomerang too but sometimes it’s useful.
Take your time and learn how to control your legion. Your basically controlling 1.5 characters in this game, you’ll see way bigger gains if you can put your Legion where you want it when you want it. Also take the time to learn everything your Legion can do. It will learn more over time through the skill trees, but the basic move sets for each are generally pretty good and worth learning.
Axe Legion is a fucking boss.
It’s better to buy a controller. It didn’t take long before my left joy con became non-responsive. And plus the broken analog seems to have a mind of it’s own navigating from the dashboard. I have to readjust the left analog from time to time so it can stop.
In the run-up to me unboxing my Switch at Christmas last year, I made damn sure to get a controller. Initially, I got a 8BitDo SN30 Pro+, but with my first revenue from my previous contracts; I bit the bullet and got a Pro Controller (along with a second pair of Joycons for when my Grandson comes to visit and play).
Admittedly, I’ve not given my Switch a lot of attention as of late outside of Animal Crossing. Since I have about two-three weeks to kill before my new certification class starts the evening of the 20th, I may just end up buckling down and getting Astral Chain out of the way finally, been stuck on either chapter 5/6 for at least a couple of months.
Also, for those of you who have Lacrimosa of Dana; how’s the Switch version?
Get used to throwing out your legion. Just kick back an watch it fight, looking out for attacks on the mc. This will get you used to it so you can do the follow up moves easier, without feeling ‘chaotic’. Holding L while pressing R, is going to be th move you use the most. It think it’s that? It’s the chain yank move .
You’ll move around a lot faster before getting the dog.
Get used to L button as well to go in and out of the combined Legion mode. You’ll use this most with the dog and fisticuffs brawler, but again, once you get used to it and it’s secondary attacks it makes pretty cool.
I have a Brook converter so I can use any of my PS controllers with it, but I rarely if ever play docked, it’s usually handheld mode.
Its Why I ditch the actual Nintendo Joycons and use the Hori Split pad pro.
Despite making the switch bulkier, it is more comfortable to hold, and real analog sticks instead of the crud the Joycons use.
I use the 8bit do usb to use my classic wiimotes
Those pads are goat tier
Ive really only used the pro controllers. I tried using the joy-con grip but everything is too cramped but also too spread out, I know that doesn’t make sense. But the joy-con grip just feels awful. I’ve only used it maybe twice.
My friends I go hang out with a lot all have the Power-A brand pro controllers and I hate them. You can immediately feel how cheap they are. They’re also super light which throws me off. It’s a sensory thing for cause of the nerve damage in my hand. My brain and hand sensory are use to the heft of the pro controller. Anything else completely throws me off. After the first time hanging out over there I made sure to always bring my controller so I could use it.
Ive never used the joy cons as motion controls and I can count on one hand how many times I’ve played on my Switch in handheld mode. It’s just super uncomfortable to me and it’s battery life doesn’t justify a reason for me to bring it anywhere to play it portable in general.
