Most devs don’t give a shit about us.
Our 10% is overwhelmingly under-represented (yes oxymoron).
Hell, the gay 10% gets a metric shit-ton more rep in games than we do.
As I see it.
So is anyone else kinda underwhelmed with the release titles? Don’t get me wrong I’m hyped as hell for this thing (Even tho the battery life kinda kills me) and can’t wait but…really the only game I’d get if I bought it at launch would be SSF4…which was the game I was most hyped for anyone but…still.
Maybe I’m just complaining but meh…just kinda expected a little more. (I WANT MY MARIO KART NAO.

I would love to have one of those 3DS’ but the short battery life and less than stellar launch line up has swayed me to wait for the second (or third) version of the thing to drop before I pick one up. Beside, the huge library of untouched DS games I have will satisfy my hand-held needs for a long time to come.

i guess the 3DS will be region locked. This is really lame. i guess according to this article the DSi and DSixl are also region locked. mine is not though. but i got mine first day DSi was released. I really hate when companies do shit like this. its just asking for people to hack the console to play imports.

So far sounds like Kid Icarus may need more work on it’s controls. This has already been mentioned before by someone at Nintendo beforehand (think it was either Miyamoto or Sakurai…can’t remember). Hopefully they can find something to make the experience smooth.

The friend code system sucks so bad was hoping it would get canned but according to the front page the 3DS will use it too lame.

According to Andriasang this will be for “players across the nation”. Hopefully that doesn’t mean online play is region locked too. I was planning a day one import, but I might end up waiting for the pirates to do their job.

Friend codes won’t be bad IF…AND ONLY IF…it applies to codes that pertain to the actual systems. If it’s still game by game then it is still indeed lame.

It looks like a UK TV representative has let out a hint that there could be a 3DS Metroidrevealed soon. If it’s true I almost feel like it’s too early for some reason. I can only hope it’s Metroid Dread that’s supposedly been in development hell for forever.

I can only hope it’s a new 2D Metroid that I’ve been waiting for, but since it’s the 3DS it only makes sense that they would do another first person game.
Maybe it’s Dread. Been what, 3 years since that Easter egg in Prime 3? Retro are more than capable at handeling 2D, as we saw with DKCR. Though the announcement seems too soon, so I won’t get my hopes up.

3DS info tomorrow guys. I’m probably going to be at work during most of the event which kinda sucks but I’m sure I’ll hear about a good chunk of the stuff at work probably through email.
3DS, $249. I knew it would be around that price, haha.
The cost conversion ends to be £156 over here, which is cheaper than the RRP for a DSiXL…somehow I don’t see it being that price.
