Just finished M&L3, and goddamn that was awesome. One of the best DS RPGs, and that final boss battle was amazing.

Didn’t that game reach the top 10 of the Japanese rankings or something? The US release is out in 2010 isn’t it? Or is there an early European release?
Playing as bowser is awesome I’m glad he’s getting most of the screen time, they should make a game just for him like they did with peach.
BIS is so fucking polished and the battle system is so fun unlike most other rpg’s grinding isn’t boring, and hearing mario n luigig speak gibberish italian is hilarious:rofl:

So yeah I think I do remember this game showing up in the top 10 in Japan a few months ago. I still want to see gameplay footage for myself so there’s plenty of time for that.

I fucking HATE Partners in Time. This one is sooo much better.
Yeah Partners in time was bad.
Partners in Time biggest problem IMO was that it was short (I think I beat it within 12 hours?), but I really enjoyed playing it, and find it to be a good game. I think you guys would’ve liked it better if it were longer.
Sigh my NDS’ screen doesn’t flip right anymore =/ It can still run games but one I can no longer position the top screen at whichever angel I want (there is a crack at the back).

These things have pretty strong hinges and I hear a lot of people buy covers like these when their top screen is wobbly.
And if you get a card for DSi it will have to be a newer, DSi specific one (but will work for DSL). I think Acekard 2i is the best right now.
Hmm I’ll see if I can find one like that. The shop I went to recommended using it with my NDS.
Finished M&L 3 yesterday. Great game, one of the best DS games this year. Final boss battle was sweet, and I loved the end of the fight (Two words: Gigaton Blow 
). The game is a decent length; I finished it at just under 30 hours, and that doesn’t include the sidequests. The ending to the game was nice…makes me wonder what Bowser’s reaction was.
