Just popped in Mario&Luigi, only did the basic while on lunch, it is great fun, kind of like Super Mario RPG with button presses for added damage. Damn all these good games coming out so close to each other, not enough time in the day to play them all
I just bought it and solved my problem! Thanks for recommending it
M&L3 is sweet; “I HAVE CHORTLES!”
Boswer: “BECAUSE I GET THINGS DONE!”
EDIT: BTW I saw a new ‘novel’ type game being sold at the shop I got the case from but I forget it’s name, all I know is that Marvelous Entertainment released it
Beat ninja gaiden easily my favorite ds game, one of my favorite games ever, and one of the most badass last board bosses I’ve ever come across we’re talking alien soldier tier:rock:
goes back to hotel dusk, mnl3, and zelda
I haven’t posted in this thread for the longest time, but what are some really good RPGs on the DS? I’m in this RPG craze right now. I’m picking up all the FFs I didn’t beat, and also all the Dragon Quests. I just beat Super Robot Taisen OG Saga. Getting that Chrono Trigger as well. Man, so many great DS games, so little time.
edit: what are some obscure games hat are good as well? Something like Touch Detectives and Hotel Dusk. Sorry if i’m asking anything stupid. =/
Mario & Luigi 3 came out last week, so go get that.
Yeah, I’m about to get on that when I get some money. Looks really good, and heard so many good things about it.
The world ends with you is a pretty fucking awesome rpg get that too and I usualy hate jrpgs.
lol, yeah, it was a great game, I beat it awhile ago. but man that was stupid confusing at first. I died to the most weakest enemies in the beginning of the game too many times to even count. Then when I got learned how to actually play, I felt stupid that I even lost to them in the first place. It was those wolf noise. lol
Mario and Luigi 3 was really fucking good, my favorite game of the year so far. This gauntlet is whooping my ass right now.
I’ve been reading M&L Partners in Time doesn’t work on the DSi. Can anyone confirm this?
I finally got a hold of Knights in the Nightmare. Now I just need to find time to play it :-/
Well that game sucks donkey balls, so don’t worry about it.
I wish there were more games like phoenix wright and especially hotel dusk for ds point n click adventure games FTW.
They should port the best of the genre (7th guest, kings quest series, and grim fandango) I’d be in heaven if I could play those types of games on the go.
I have CHORTLES!!
Knights of the Nightmare is so weird to me. But an interesting game to play. I barely started and am still totally lost. Looks like I’m going through all the tutorials again. lol
I have a DS Lite, and love it. I take it everywhere, but I hate bringing all my games around with me. It gets very annoying. I read about flash carts so I can backup my games, and put them on one card so I play them without carrying all the games with me. For those who use these cards which one is the best?
I do not care about homebrew or anything like that. Just want to play my games when I am hanging out someplace without the constant switching of carts. I read about the Acekard, R4 Revolution, Supercard DS-One, and R4-SDHC. For those who use these cards which one is the best?
Oh, if I do get one of these cards and backup my games do I lose my saves? I got really far in Rune Factory 2, and I hope I can transfer my save as well.
Thanks for the feedback folks. Just researching via websites, and youtube. SRK is straight forward though in these type of things.
I wish I could help you but I’m not too sure as I have an R4 and there are definitely better cards out there than it. Not to sure about importing saves but I really want to know the answer too as I need to back up some Advance Wars DS save games into my R4 (had to start my game from scratch…).
I also lost my DS, it’s been 2 days now and the worst part is I JUST got M&L 3
:shake::shake::shake:
Look into the cyclods. It’s a little higher than the others but my ds has been an ipod/pda for three years now. And since you aren’t interested in homebrew, it will cover your other needs very nicely and they update on a fairly regular basis. About the saves, yeah short of you having some dev equipment to read your game, you’re starting over.
I. Can’t. Put. Down. Scribblenauts
I agree I love those types of games. Have you tried Broken Sword? I thought it was pretty good.
I have been using a Cyclo for the past 2 years and it’s given me no problems whatsoever. It does cost twice as much as other carts, but from my experience it was worth it.
Acekard 2 is another good choice. My gf uses it and she likes it.
