anyone picked up mario and luigi bowser’s… yet?
One of the words is teleporter, and it sends you to a room with a bunch of developers in it…
but I seriously wanted a teleporter to get across this river =[
Nooo, it was posted though. I haven’t played any of the mario and luigi games so I’m wondering if you need any experience in those games to appreciate this one.
Hey guys, I’ve got a problem.
The other day I dropped my DS lite maybe about 3-5 feet. Now my upper screen is a messed up. This is what I’m looking at

The DS can still load games, but the screen remains all white.

Other than that, there’s a slight crack at the bottom right corner of my DS.

So I wanted to ask, has this happened to anyone else and can I fix it? Or is my DS Lite pretty much broken?

Gonna pick up the new Mario and Luigi RPG today or tomarrow. Game looks sooooo good.
Apparently, TRU messed up and Mario & Luigi is coming out on Tuesday. They’re supposed to honor the gift card deal still.
Looks like serious LCD shock on both screens. I would think the only way to fix that is new screens and a shell, which costs as much as a whole new DS Lite.
That kind of thing is common with dropped laptops, phones and iPods, and I haven’t seen a solution other than to repair the screen or get a completely new item.

I love me some DS castlevania, but I think konami has their hands tied with the upcoming 3-d castlevania.
Theres a new 2d Castlevania for the Wii being made(Castlevania: Rebirth, like Contra and Gradius before it).

I just called EB Games here in Toronto, and they have Mario & Luigi right now. :bgrin: heading out soon to pick it up.

I own a DSi and I fucked up my Acekard by updating my Firmware, Luckily this is an easy fix if you know someone with a DSlite or a down-graded DSi (You need to update your card on theirs).

I was toying with it, and if I hold the top screen as far back as it can go, the screen reverts back to normal. I was able to play Scribblenauts for about an hour before I put it down. I think something inside might be loose, but I’m not sure what it could be.
Controls for scribblenauts are terrible.
Buy a triwing screwdriver (if you don’t have one already) and open it up, its pretty easy to dismantle and reassemble, even if you have fat fingers like me lol. There are a few ribbon cables which could of easily come loose.
I replaced the screen on my sisters phat DS, it was really easy an only cost about 8 if i remember correctly.
If you can’t repair it buy a phat, i’ve dropped mine more times than i can count, including down the stairs more than once, its almost indestructible.
Does anyone feel stupid buying games? I ask myself all the time why when I don’t have to?
BTW anyone else hyped for infinite space? it’s supposedly real time but it doesn’t look like it is.

Aww, never feel stupid buying games! Unless you paid too much or unintentionally bought a game you already have (which I’ve done, lol). What’s Infinite Space about? Doesn’t seem like anyone’s hype for it. I bet everyone’s playing Scribblenauts anyway. I still need to buy the game myself but I have Professor Layton:DB keeping me busy for now. Too many other DS games I need to play and finish. :crybaby:
I am waiting for Sega, ATLUS or NiS to translate and release 7th Dragon! Reminds me A LOT like Etrian Odyssey and the game play looks awesome.

Personally…I like giving companies my money as I feel it’s ‘my vote’ instead of just ripping them off…especially if it’s a well done game.
and Infinite Space is being done by Platinum Games (formerly Clover…Viewitful Joe, Okami and recently did MadWorld along with working on Bayonetta). I’ve been keeping an eye on it but I’ve yet to see any gameplay footage…cutscenes do look awesome though.
Same here if its a well done game I’ll buy it. I usually just rent games I feel I will beat and never play again.
