Has anyone picked up Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box. If so, how does it compare to the first game. I ask because, the first game was great but I don’t think I will buy the new one until a price drop unless it is has enough differences from the first.
I have it and I’m enjoying it like I thought I would. Then again, I loved the first one too. :lovin:
There aren’t that many differences compared to the first when I think of it, aside from setting/story, minigames, and puzzles.
I did like exploring and learning about new areas of St. Mystere in the first game, as you’re pretty much on a train in the second.
I haven’t finished it yet, but I know someone in this thread has so they’d probably know a bigger list of differences.
I do reccommend it though, even if you wait for a price drop.

One question to answer immediately before you even click the link is that it’s in 3d and not 2d but plays like it’s 2d (only able to attack left and right). That’s probably going to be a deal breaker for some but from the sounds of the hands on it’s heart is in the right place. It’s going to have some throw backs to the old arcade and apparently air juggles are going to be in.

I got to pick up Touch the Dead for $15 at Future Shop. I say there needs to be a Touch Crisis DS game with local co-op, since I loved Time Crisis 2 and 3.
Pretty hyped for Scribblenauts though. Not so much on Mario and Luigi.
