Nice! What do you use to actually store your cartridges?
Also, what are those foreign titles you have? The only ones I can recognize are the Ouendan 2 box, and probably the Ouendan 1 Box below it because of the insignia. Also, I can’t read the box left of Master Illusion.
I’d like to sport an impressive collection myself, but I’m hella picky about my DS titles. Not to mention that DS games tend to be some of the rarest things around!

My birthday’s comin’ up. I’m wondering if I should get a DSi. I still love my Lite though. Can’t play Advance Wars 1/2 on my DSi if I do get one.
I ordered Clubhouse Games today on Amazon after reading some of the threads here. I had a gift card to get rid of. Touch Generation games are usually pretty good.
I guess I should list my recommended games, huh?
Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia
Phoenix Wright series
Contra 4
Picross DS
Planet Puzzle League
The World Ends With You
Knights in the Nightmare
Mario Kart DS
Bleach: Dark Souls
Hotel Dusk
Puzzle Quest
Advance Wars: Days of Ruin
Thanks for the nice comments! What I use to store my cartridges? Or the shelf I’m using? I’m storing all my games on a HUGE shelf I bought a few months ago from IKEA. It’s so awesome! I actually have 2 DS’ because the “L” button on my first one wasn’t responding too well after 2 years. :c Still works though.
I really don’t have a reason to buy the US version of Rhythm Tengoku unless it drops in price, to like $20 or something. I <3 my Tales games, even if I can’t really play them. The game next to Master of Illusion is Knights in the Nightmare.
Yeah, I’m a collecting nut. :lovin: Trying to hold off on buying games for now since I’m low on money. K, sorry to get sidetracked with my other games but a few more good DS titles:
Little Red Riding Hood’s Zombie BBQ - I’m seriously bought it for the title, but it’s actually a decent game.
Etrian Odyssey - One of the best RPG’s I’ve played on the DS, but it’s also a little difficult.
Ah, you actually keep the cartridges in each case? I don’t mind for consoles, but for portables I like to keep 'em easily accessible, so I don’t have to open a case before I fly out the door. I myself want a Penguin United case. Holds 24 cartridges and yet small enough to fit in your pocket.
For now, all I can do is carry my DS around in this weird box I found in my parents’ closet. Like a mini-toolbox I suppose.
Also, do you know what’s up with your L button? If it might just be some dirt in there, it should cost you absolutely nothing to open it up and clean it out. The Trigger buttons are easily accessible as well, you only need to open up the button shell, no ribbons or cables to remove. I remember once having my shoulder buttons act dumb, and a good cleaning out solved that issue right away. The only thing you might need is a Tri-wing screwdriver… but I myself have never had one. I can open Tri-screws just fine without stripping them.
As for the DSi, I looked up how to dissect one… holy crap, ribbon cables everywhere. @_@

As for the rest of your collection, that’s quite impressive, needs more PS3 though. xP
i was playing devil survivor, but i got really bored with it, and haven’t picked it up in a few weeks. I’m finding it really hard to stay interested with RPGs, and thats all i used to play back in the day. Prolly has to do with the fact that i work 40 hour weeks now
Try this to fix the other DS. Lift the L button upwards slightly (it shouldn’t move very much) with your thumb and fore finger (pinch the sides) and blow into the tiny gap between the button and the system. Sometimes dirt gets in there and stops it from responding. Worked for me.
Really? I’ll try to fix it myself then. Thanks a lot for the advice! I’d rep you if I could. It is pretty handy having another DS around. Mostly to challenge people at Tetris and other muti-player games.
F1xxy: Yeah, I usually keep most of my games in their case because I fear losing them some how. :c I do take like, 8-10 games at a time. Your tool box looks awesome, btw. That Penguin United case looks sooo handy too. How much does it go for? I haven’t seen one in any stores. LOL! I don’t have a PS3 yet. I just bought my very first Xbox 360 back in March for the Resident Evil 5 Edition. I also have 2 PS2’s, one American (slim silver), and a Japanese one (slim pink) and they’ve been keeping me very happy. If anything, I’ll probably buy the slim PS3 that’s coming out soon.
I’m very tempted to also get a DSi but the price is kinda keeping me from getting it and I hear the battery life on it isn’t very good. Plus I already have two DS’ anyway.
You can find the Penguin United Case for $14.99 over at PenguinUnited.com’s Product page, but I believe you will have to buy it off of one of their authorized resellers, such as Amazon.com (link to the item).
That’s the main reason I do want a DSi, as I have had 2 DSL’s ever since the second year they were out. (because I raped my first DS by being a retard during shell replacement. I punctured a ribbon cable with a screwdriver! Mortified, I bought a second one and sent the busted one to a repair site)
Thing is though, I’ll be giving my second DS to my little sister, and it’s always been handy having a second one around, so I thought I’d try out the new DSi and DSiware while having a second “Guest” DS just in case. (and my Lite would still be my main. <3)
I got Clubhouse Games in the mail today. Pretty fun game. I’m playing through the stamp mode, since I figure that will be the best way to learn the games I’m unfamiliar with.
Nice, looking foward to Scribblenauts and Mario and Luigi, showing they both come out on the same day, gonna suck trying to figure out which one to play first :looney:
so im at a the puzzle in professor layton that deals with the molentary express ticket. I twants me to fold the picture of the ticket from the instruction book, and i don’t want to. So can anyone that has already beaten this puzzle provide me with the answer?
I don’t have the extra money right due to me leaving on Vacation in 9 days but 1st of october when I get payed I am getting one with the following games:
KH: 358/2
Mario and Luigi: Bowsers Inside Story
The World Ends with You
Blue Dragon+
Pokemon Platinum
Chrono Trigger
Lunar Knights
I’ve been out of the loop for a while when it comes to DS games sense I haven’t had one for almost a year. Any new JRPG’s or decent dungeon crawlers come out?
