chrono cross?
boring battle system, too many characters…
but who cares? great story, great visuals (i mean the artistic designs not the graphics), and the divine soundtrack…

I don’t like level capping. That shit is retarded, and it makes each area completely boring and pointless after you hit the cap for the area.
yeah I forgot about Miguel. That dude was tough! For me persoanlly besides miguel
Notice that alot of the toughest bosses in the game have WHITE innate.
Next quest favorite Doulb/ Triple techs.
Anybody for the 3 knights that you can only fight post game? They were no joke also
I loved the divine theme along with many others. I’ll post up the theme/ bosses later
So I hear the new Kirby game (or actually remake) is out on NDS and it is awesome.
Can’t we just agree that the music from both is good? D=

i got through the first disc of Chrono Cross and realized i didn’t give enough of a fuck to play the rest.
So how many of you are playing the Spiderman Web of Shadows DS?
PLAY IT!!!
Finally figured out how to skin my R4 DS, sooo nice. Made a bunch of skins already.
Picked up & playing:
Korg DS-10 - Simply amazing…my favorite DS “game” so far
Castlevania OOE - Addicted already, I love these games. Still have DOS in the queue.
Picked up & in the queue
Locke’s Quest
Arkanoid DS
Worms Open Warfare 2
Prof. Layton
Space Invaders Extreme
Bleach 2
…too many good games
i completed all 300 quest chains on FFTA2, adnd clocking in at 165:40:40. I did not bother to do “the last quest,” since it’s only winnable with broken, cookie cutter builds and not my own mix. Lv. 99 teams with uber speed? not my idea of fun. I also quit Brightmoon Tor Level 3 for the same reasons. And this is all on normal mode. I think i’ve done what i wanted. Hard mode isn’t inticing enough to do. I played mainly for the awesome writing anyhow.
just dipped my toe into Castlevania: OoE, and the story is very “mmeh.” I like the art direction, though. And the glyph system. The only thing i hate is the new heart/magic/exhaution system. Makes the game difficult to pick-up and play.
Eh the previous Metroidvanias felt rather easy to beat, this one is more challenging with that handicap.
i’ve gotten use to button mashing the vampire killer with double tapped forward powered up cracks. so this exhaustion system is kinda annoying. Right now, i spend more time watching the magic bar go down and timing my strikes than actually hacking shit up.
I just got all three piece of Dominiscus (sp?) and I’m told to use the Union Glyph.
Except when I press UP X while equipping all three Dominiscus pieces, I die a flashy death and I have to restart from savepoint. What’s up with that?
Yeah it’s dumb how they get first priorty turns in Brightmoon Tor. My clock in was 207:52:24 with all missions done, even the last one. The builds are definitely necessary for the last quest, it’s quite difficult otherwise. You’ll probably go as far as the Cinquear, but after that with no proper builds expect to go down fast especially if you somehow made it to M4. The Brightmoon’s are at least worth the trouble since there are good items in them.
You have to use Dominus at a certain point…
Using Dominus
Use the Dominus union after you beat Dracula and he charges up for his final attack.
my cousin came to my house the other day and dropped the NDS so now the top screen is broken.
any advice?
Congratulations. You just got the bad ending.
im playing disgaea for ds right now, and still need to get the new castlevaina. Only reason I didnt like Chrono Cross, is because of the characters, and combat system, story was ok at best.
Edit: now if only Terranigma would come out for DS that would be amazing
I haven’t touched my DS in months.
How’s the new Castlevania, fellers? I assume you are going to say it’s great, but how’s the gameplay? Anything New? Any reason I should play it instead of the old Castlevanias?
I like the new Castlevania becoz it rewards you with a useless item (a medal) if you can defeat a boss without taking any damage.
the item does nothing more than fill up your item collection, but it’s definitely an incentive to test your gaming skillz.
I dont spend too much time with it, but so far I’ve beaten the first 3 bosses and perfected them all, and I definitely look forward to challenging the rest of them
Death is the only one I managed to perfect and get a medal on.
