I just Beat Barlowe and entered Drac’s Castle, and have every boss medal so far.
Has anyone checked out the new Valkyrie Profile game yet? The original VP was basically one of the most unique games on earth, and this one looks pretty interesting too. From what I’ve seen it’s like SRW, sRPG style with cutscenes that use the original game’s combo system.
Go to the Nintendo website, DS section, and put in the # on the back of the DS on where it asks you to. If your DS is less than one year old, you can get that shit fixed for free. Otherwise, you gotta pay $$$.
just beat Legend of Kage 2 for the second time. such a fun game.
Just get it, its fucking Castlevania, if you’re a Castlevania fan you shouldn’t even ASK if the new Castlevania is good or not, JUST FUCKING GET IT!
Guys I’m looking for a title. I know it’s still in developpement. It’s a suspense detective story a la Hotel Dusk. I think it’s being made by Tecmo. Some detective’s family was murdered 18 years ago and now he has psychic powers or some shit.
Anyone knows what I’m talking about?

I’m pretty dissapointed that they turned the game into an SRPG. From the little I’ve played so far it’s pretty boring and slooooow, which is a shame because what I like the most about VP is it’s really dynamic gameplay.
I’ll play it for a while and if it doesn’t pick up I’ll wait for the English version to see if I’m missing something.

Good is subjective. I mean, I am dying to play Chrono Trigger since I never played it, but if Syxx573 thinks there aren’t going to be any good games in the future, then he/she has no interest in whatever is coming up, which, in this case, is Chrono Trigger.
VP DS is a sRPG?? I guess that explains the isometric view…
I have to say that I’m a little disappointed, but at least the battle system appears to be intact.
VP DS seems decent. I like how they integrated the combo system into the sRPG style, like Disgaea x SRW. The game’s also fairly difficult, which I like. I’ve put about an hour and a half into the Japanese version now. I’ll go back to it later tonight.

Somewhat. Only characters in range to hit an enemy can join you in a battle to do combos, so if your chars are spread out you’ll only attack with one at a time and never do PWS attacks. Which limits the strategic aspect of the game.
Yeah making it a SRPG wasn’t the best idea probably. I hope the game proves me wrong later on, though.
