- Stopped on FFTA-2 for a bit. Already beaten her senseless. Just have to finish the other half. 200 quests like.
- Picking up Weight Loss Coach again.
- Picking up Word Coach again.
- Picking up Brain Age again.
SHould have had them price check it. It’s on clearance here for 14 bucks.
Hands on with Castlevania: OoE
Looks like another winner
This plus Ketsui DS are providing the only reason for me to survive September
Is hotel dusk worth a shit?
I have Hotel Dusk. It’s really good but kind of boring. Imagine you’re reading a book, except you get to decide what page you want to turn to (a la choose your own adventure). The downside, though, is that each page takes a very long time to turn.
Sooo, did anyone buy Red Bull BC One? I was going to until I YouTubed some videos… and ew. PSP got the better b-boy game .
Go to work, you whore!
Oh, and Ronin, if you don’t get Hotel Dusk, I will tackle you. Off a waterfall.
…With a toboggan.
I had the exact same experience as Septimus with Hotel Dusk. By the end, I just wanted the game to be finished. They really should have let you set the text speed in that game.
Ah, good ol’ Kotaku. Those screens were actually taken from a movie captured by my co-worker, who is sitting next to me right now. I just asked him about it, since I knew he did the vid cap a while back.
Fucking lying ass Kotaku.
I’m at work. Answer my question.
It’s one of those overlooked gems of last year. The pacing is slow, though.
Picked up Hotel Dusk and Dragon Quest today. Hopefully I’ll have some time to play them one of these days.
Yeah, I loved Hotel Dusk! It’s slow paced, but the dialog and storytelling along with the music was excellent!
Hotel Dusk was great. Couldn’t believe when the credits rolled that it was written by Japanese people. Gotta be one of the greatest English translations I’ve ever read then.
Edit: Do agree with the sentiment about text speed though. Glacial.
They’re not lying about anything, at least here. Showing screenshots from the game is a lot better than snapping shots from the DS they’re playing right?
Hotel dusk one of the best handheld games ever, only gripe was how a few random parts were incredibly difficult because you had no clue to go on and some of the dialog was dancing around the obvious. Great visuals too.
Oh yeah and it’s only for those who have a high tolerance for slow pacing.
hmmm
Almost time for something new, less than 100 missions left in FFTA2. Thinking about a Sonic Chronicles pickup whenever it’s here, but I dunno.
Bastardo! How’d you get past 272?
At work I just fight random monster battles, so my party is like LV90ish. I also wanted to focus on the best builds possible, so I was able to complete missions like that one where you fight all the kings pretty early.
